Our double room did not offer a mountain view and only slept...
Our double room did not offer a mountain view and only slept 2. There were no bathrobes, bath, kitchenette, stovetop, kitchenware, oven or washing machine and the walls are not soundproof. Maybe we were given a different room to what we booked, but the property did not offer any refund at all. Room was clean but décor tired.

We really enjoyed the old city center with it's many...
We really enjoyed the old city center with it's many historic buildings dating back to the 16th century as well as the old city walls and gate. It was easy to get around and see the city on foot or by bike. The Uneso World Heritage site of Corvey was a special treat as was the Jacob Pins gallery in Hoexter. We also enjoyed the tour of the Fuerstenberg porcelaine exhibit as well as the extensive collection in the retail store. Hoexter is also great for relaxing, hiking and biking. We also enjoyed some great restaurants and loved the cafes with their delicious cakes. Must visit: Engels bakery and cafe Pammel.

We dined at the hotel and the chef had gone sick. The hotel owner stepped in and did all the cooking while a local and very engaging young woman stepped in and served everyone. It had a happy atmosphere. Quite spacious rooms. Breakfast was fine. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy the local countryside.HarleybarleyUnited Kingdom

The hotel is located very central in the city centre and close to the small/local train station. You can easily find a restaurant or pub from here. Anyways, the hotel also features its own restaurant, which is very nice. The breakfast is severed as buffet with a big choice and the staff is friendly. The rooms are modern and quiet. To cross from one hotel to Huxori, we had to use an underground tunnel. A bit confusing the first time, but OK thereafter. Location was in downtown Hoexter, near a Catholic church and shopping. Friendly staff gave us late checkout, despite a need for the room. Price was right.

The lady who checked me in was very helpful with tips about a place I wanted to go to. There’s a cafe that opens at 6 am nearby, which is very convenient. Nice shower and toiletries. I would stay there again if I return to Höxter.

Everything is in walking distance. There's a lovely pool and gowns in your room. Take a towel. The room was immaculate with a power shower. Breakfast is amazing. Really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!
