Hotel Dubrovnik Palace, hotel in Dubrovnik

Located in the Lapad Peninsula, Hotel Dubrovnik Palace offers a beach and a scuba diving center.

I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. In addition, there is a bus that goes to Dubrovnik’s old town that stops directly in front of the hotel, which is super convenient (it’s the 4 bus). I really like that you can get breakfast as early as 6 am because this gives you enough time to eat in case you have an early tour. The breakfast buffet has a variety of options, too. The rooms have a great view of the sea, and they’re pristine and spacious. I would definitely stay here again!

Club Dubrovnik Sunny Hotel, hotel in Dubrovnik

The family-friendly Club Dubrovnik Sunny Hotel Hotel on the lush Babin Kuk peninsula offers an easy access to the Old Town of Dubrovnik.

The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was a great short vacation and the hotel exceeded our expectation. We had an amazing room with a panoramic sea view. The room had everything we needed. There was allot of activities that we were able to do within the hotel especially for a family with a kid. From visiting the pool to the close beach and playgrounds within Maro's world, my kid enjoyed all these activities. The breakfast and the dinner buffet was great with very good variety. Overall it was an amazing stay for us and we totally recommend this hotel if you ever visit Dubrovnik.

The scenery was AMAZING like I've never seen before in any city we have visited. Everyone we spoke to felt the same. We have never seen such a clean city, no litter anywhere. Not one piece. Congratulations Dubrovnik. No homeless people asking for money or food. The flip side is its so expensive for absolutely everything. From a Cappuccino 6 euros depending where you goto a beer 8-10 euros to the main meal Only 70 euros. So a meal out for 2 adults was always 140 euros whether it was lunch or dinner. You will need deep pockets 200 plus per day. Our apartment cost 720 euros it was a steal, the best view ever. Close to everything we needed. A local shop 100 meters away. Which was local prices. A local beach 2 minutes away and old town 5 minutes away. I would recommend visiting Dubrovnik, using public transport having a good look around this amazing city

Amazing city. We had high expectations and it exceeded them. We truly had great holidays. Little not here: we went in April and it seems to be the best time to go according to all the local people we talked to. Everyday, it was between 23-25 degrees and sunny, but the city was not super crowded because it was not yet high season.

The bells ringing hourly drove us mental.

The bells ringing hourly drove us mental. Charging 35 euro to walk the wall and 29 euro for a six minute cabe car ride are both extortionate. It's a nice city but food and drinks are pricey compared to other places. Somewhere to visit on a day trip not stay for a week like we did.

    Dubrovnik is expensive.

Dubrovnik is expensive. About 50% to 100% as expensive as other Croatian places (Split, Zadar, etc.). But in contrast to other Croatian cities, it did not lose its population. So, you have a specific spirit of the place. In history, their specialty was trade, diplomacy, spying and corruption. In modern times, this translates into a city where waiters learn foreign languages during winter, where tourism is not without limits (noise is controlled, bags with wheels forbidden, etc.) and where the staff is attentive and trying to connect with the tourists. So, expensive but I would say worth it.

The hotel property is amazing (sun gardens)....everything is at the property (restaurants, spa, and bookings for excursions if needed) - just a couple of hiccups: water kettle wasn't working so I called reception and they brought us a brand new one. The air conditioning wasn't working and still didn't get fixed - gladly we weren't in the high & hot season. Ok, my review on Dubrovnik: Gorgeous and clean area. food prices are EXPENSIVE....after speaking to other people, it's 50/50 on location. Some say Old town is more expensive and when we went there, prices were still high but in comparison to the hotel and outskirts, cheaper. We got scammed there with the rental car: Goldcar - lost 65bucks and then had to rent a car with another agency for about 170. Also, at the end of our stay after pre-paying our hotel, they charge a 7 euro daily "city tax" fee. I just feel like instead of relaxing, I had to triple check every charge. Driving there is crazy. Drivers are very aggressive...nearly hit us and saw a near collision with a pedestrian (older gentleman). There are a lot of speed cameras so we were cautious. One lady had her change at a gas station thrown at her because she was questioning a 35c charge (after she ordered her coffee) for the cup...yes, 35c for the cup. She's a tourist so she didn't bring her Stanley or a cup. It's like ordering a soft drink at McDonalds and at the end, they charge you an extra 35c. Didn't make sense. Folks weren't that friendly (except for a rare few).....all in all....if you have disposable income and are a huge fan of Game of Thrones, then go there and you'll have a blast. It was a one time event for us, we had fun as a family but won't go back.

Dubrovnik is a beautiful place with striking mountains and a wonderful, tightly packed Old Town. We have returned from 7 days there and, frankly 7 days in not needed to see the sights - 3 or 4 would be sufficient. Be aware that almost all of the tourist sights are in the Old Town, which gets very busy. We went in April and it was busy, I dread to think what it is like in the summer months. The food everywhere we ate in Dubrovnik was delicious. There are lots of food options with many restaurants offering a good range of choice.

This is a really new and nice apartment. It is one of the best ones we have ever rented. It is like a 5 stars hotel, just with the comfort of your home. The parking place on the roof of the building with the background of Dubrovnik's harbor is simply awesome. I recommend to all men to take the opportunity and make some pictures of your car. :) Additionally, the Host is very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for the best accommodation in Dubrovnik for your money this one is definitely should be considered.

Nothing more could be added to what has already been said about the apartment: 5 star +. The inclusion of a couple of sun lounges would have been nice though as a few hours in the day were spent enjoying the superb vista. For us, the best way to Dubrovnik Old Town was via the steps on `PUT OD BOSANKE` - just across from the taxi rank at the entrance to the town. After every 2nd step there`s a 2mtr long flat part that allows you to take a breather.....or to step aside for younger ones to overtake!

This is a brand new (or quasi brand new) hotel. Our room is very spacious and clean. The hotel is well located to visit not only the old town but also other parts of Dubrovnik. The breakfast is excellent. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

Super nice hotel in a great location in Old Town Dubrovnik! Check in was easy and we got help with our bags. The room was great, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also great with plenty of room.

Obviously, it is no fancy 5 star-hotel but absolutely perfect for a short stay in Dubrovnik. It is small but very clean and well organized. The host is extremely friendly and welcoming!
