The patio has an amazing view and the space is lovely. We drank the water as suggested and had no issues which was a nice feature. I hate buying so much water. It was easy access to Volubilis and the town square. They can arrange all sorts of things for you from the Riad if you just ask. We arranged a driver to Fes but they offer donkey rides and other things. They even had an electric mattress cover to heat the bed!

There was home cooked food served for dinner which tasted amazing. Breakfast was good too.
We arrived in the winter season so it was cold, but we had ample covers and a room heater.

Meeting Zakia is worth the visit to this lovely town. From the moment we arrived, Zakia welcomed us like family. She shared her courageous and passionate journey to open the town to foreign visitors and champion progress for rural women. She is a most incredible person. The home/hotel is thoughtfully decorated and somewhat museum-like with many traditional Moroccan antiques. We were very comfortable. So glad we chose to stay here.

The staff helped me with a train reservation and arranged for a taxi. A map of the area is provided for both an area hike and directions to the Roman Ruins Volubilis. I highly recommend. Very relaxing. Wish I had been able to spend another night.

She picked us up from the Taxi Station and brought us to her place. There we got some welcome tea and later on the best Tajine we had so far! It was made from organic veggies from Moulay Idriss. Zakia even upgraded our room to a much bigger one than the one we had booked. Her whole house is very beautiful and has lots of sweet details, plus the view from her balcony is amazing! Thank you so much for the warm hospitality! <3

You will be able to truly relax and regenerate. Some people complain about the stairs. Yes, there are some steps. But nothing to worry about. And the little street is lovely. The food, dinner and breakfast, is also lovely.

We needed to leave the hotel early in the morning to be first at Volubilis (what ruins!) and he offered to make us a breakfast at 6:30 if we wanted. We could not accept, but the gesture touched our hearts. The hotel itself is museum quality, a true riad in every sense.

It is walking distance to Volubilis but I’d drive the back road through the olive orchards.
