Back to nature. It has a lot of walking trails with awesome views. Love the tea oil Chicken and fried stream shrimps. Best to rent a car or book for private transport to travel around Alisan as the interval for public bus iS at least half an hour.Bee HoonSingapore

We had travelled to Alishan via public transport, so the couple offered to drive us from the minsu into town for dinner, and then back again. They were so welcoming, and were also able to accomodate our dietary restrictions (both vegetarian) for breakfast, which was very delicious! We were only able to stay for 1 night, but there's so much to see at Alishan, so we're definitely looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

Simple breakfast is provided, lots of tea and coffee to enjoy. You definitely need some form of transport arrangement if you have big luggages because it’s located on a mountain, and there are many vehicles around. The location was gorgeous, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly - we so enjoyed our time drinking tea and visiting with them! The delicious homemade breakfast was a wonderful bonus, but our favorite part of our stay was spending time talking with our outgoing and friendly hosts. This was one of our favorite places on our 12 day journey through Taiwan!

Thankfully, owners provide free transport to and from the property from the bus stops. The owners were also very nice and considerate. They even helped arrange transportation up Alishan to watch the sunrise. Overall all was great, however do note that certain things are dependent on the owners' flexibility and time. There was so much food during meals and snacks / ramen in the room. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. When we said we needed to buy tea as gifts, he let us try multiple teas and gave us helpful tips to purchase tea at their family’s store in Alishan.

The room is filled with natural fragrance of pine wood. It is a short 10 mins walk to nearby town of Shizhao, from where some scenic and interesting walking trails are located - such as Sakura Trail, Sunset Trail, Trail of Tea, Mist Trail.
