Apia is a great holiday destination to visit for those that want somewhere to relax. The people are friendly and helpful but do be aware of going to markets. They have locals prices and tourist prices, possibly even in stores as well. So if you know a local there, that will work to your advantage. It is also an advantage if you can learn some key phrases before you go. The locals really appreciate it when they see tourists who are learning or trying to speak their language.

If you want to visit paradise this is the place.
If you want to visit paradise this is the place. I don't like that they use paper straws everywhere. They have good local food. Food was perfect, be aware it's hot so come prepare with summer clothes and gears.
Make sure to get a spacious good rental car. Its easy to get around, you can also use Google map. Fish and chips at the fish market is really good🤗👌Also stop by at Revive Restaurants at Vaitele best burgers but, if you're a coffee lover stop by at Coffee Roaster in Togafu'afu'a Apia they have the best coffee in town🤗😎👌👌God's blessings always💙🙏

Our Samoan experience was truly unforgettable, immersed in the beauty of the island, vibrant local vibes, warm hospitality of the Samoan people, and rich cultural encounters. The overall adventure was incredible; however, the drawback was the somewhat excessive pricing and a bit of disappointment with the food offerings.

It's good to get out of town and experience the real cultural life style. You never been to samoa if you don't visit Savaii. Amanaki restaurant got the best menu, decent prices, friendly staff. Pretty easy to wake around town it's not that big. Avoid walking around in town after dark.🤣🤣🤣

When going sightseeing make sure your ready to pay for things such as taking photos of waterfalls etc which we didn’t mind as it was only $5 tala person in the car and any way to make money for the Samoan people is well spent. There are signs where you pay.
Is definitely a bonus and makes the trip easier if you have at least one person in our group who speaks the language.
The best meal we had was when we attended the Island Grill in Apia. Absolutely delicious food wonderful customer service fast and priced reasonable.
Don’t go to the Casino in Apia. It should never have been out there. If people want to gamble you will never win there and it is supporting the wrong cause.
Markets were great and lots of souvenirs to take home for the family. Good prices and most people friendly.
If you have a weak stomach be careful where you are getting food from. Avoid the stores or road foods.
We found hiring a car from the airport and drop off was convenient if you have someone who can drive. We used Moana rentals. The car wasn’t full on pickup from the airport and had quite a few scratches but if you take photos before leaving the airport you will be fine. Drinking a round is a little hectic but once your used to it your fine.
If you are looking for a party go to the Hotel Millenia Fridays and Saturdays they have a live band. Bar staff require some customer service training and drinks can be a little warm late in the night as they usually run out.
The hotel is well located in central Apia so it's easy to get around and see the sights that the city has to offer. I arrived late in the evening and the security guard let me in and showed me to my room. The room was spacious with the air conditioning already on so it was comfortable to go right to sleep. The breakfast in the morning was basic, but fine given the price point of this place. Bread, cereal, jam, peanut butter, tea/coffee were on offer.
Staff was nice and friendly and the bathroom was clean.
The overall service of accommodating for our dad who was unable to walk a flight of stairs to the room. Samoana Hotel accommodated by making changes so dad can have a ground floor room. Very convenient and suitable to all our needs. Letting us use their hose and bucket to wash our hire van. Very friendly and helpful staff, just sorry we left early and didn't get to say good bye to Jade and her staff. Thank you for looking after us, even if it was just 3 nights. Faasootauloa Frank and Aiga
The owner was so lovely, she came around to check if we needed anything.
She also allow us to collect some coconuts and pawpaws as we are Samoans living overseas, we needed this to reconnect with our culture by climbing a coconut tree and have a breakfast with the beautiful esi(pawpaw)
Thank you so much, and we highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a house rent during your stay in Samoa
Very grateful for the owners for being understanding and assisting as much as possible with an unexpected emergency on the first night of our stay, they made sure my kids were comfortable until we checked out, earlier than expected. A cosy homestead setting surrounded by lovely real Samoa ‘feel’ beach fales. Breakfast was great. The pool is cleaned daily and refreshing. Staff very hospitable.
Beautiful Scenery, and Welcomed by amazing hosts and Million dollar views, away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city centre. A great place to go and Relax and get away and be surrounded by nature and the true beauty of Samoa. Many tropical fruit trees and native flowers. Embraced by a waterfall as you drive up to the entrance to the Lodge. Definitely Paradise.
Absolutely an AMAZING place to stay … the host Nathan is so prompt and professional in handling the property… Nathan made my stay such a smooth, stress free experience… The facility has all amendments required … Thank you again Nathan for your awesome hospitality… I highly recommend Samoa Business Apartments and I will be staying again once I am back in Samoa…
Tanoa is one of the best hotels in Apia. This is where you want to stay. Some of the staff like Roneeta, Temple and some others were really helpful. Thank you again.
The hotel is a refuge and quite comfortable.
We arrived with short notice and there are limited hotel rooms in Apia. The hotel staff worked extra to accommodate us. Thank you
Very friendly staff, nice gardens and pool, comfortable room. Breakfast was a lovely Samoan selection and evening meals were no problem with nice restaurants within easy walking distance. I would recommend Roko's. Having a late flight out, I needed to store my bags in reception and was able to wait relaxing by the pool.
The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits (Banana, pawpaw etc) with very good cereals. The hotel is quite and the staff provides the excellent hospitality. the workers a friendly welcoming as you step into the premises. It a walking distance to town. The best place to stay during you visit to Apia
Big room and very comfortable bed. The service was a top notch and everyone were so helpful and friendly. The food was delightful and delicious especially the oka outta this world with so many flavours and that little bit of spice on top was amazing
I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in samoa 🇼🇸
Room was a good size. Big shower and bathroom but was quite a dark hotel room during the day.
Able to walk to outside restaurants and shops in town.
Staff were ok - no problems getting assistance but we found them to generally not be as welcoming as other hotels we stayed at this trip to Samoa.
Handy location; easy to walk into town.
There’s a supermarket next door that’s open quite late (we arrived at 10pm on a Sunday and it was still open).
Great breakfast spread served in a lush courtyard.
The host was lovely and chatty, full of information about everything.
I loved it because it was fit for my family as it was lovely and peaceful area ,everything was perfect .It was so convenient to stay in a place that was fully furnished and well maintained.
I would totally recommend to those who ever travels to Samoa, to stay here.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was basic, but very adequate. A/C was quiet and worked well.
Taxis were easy to find and very reasonable. Shower water was alway hot..
Overall a good experience. i would definitely gather again.
The place is beautiful and staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very spacious and everywhere in the city is a $5-$10tala taxi away. The restaurant at the hotel is technically a separate business but served delicious food!
The staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly, and helpful, with good tips for what to do around Apia and Samoa. And considering the temperatures outside, I was very happy with the air conditioning in the room.
Location and the property. Near Frankies Supermarket and easy to flag a taxi in the road. Not far from town and cost $7 WST to travel to town. Well ventilated with comfortable stay.
The ladies who run the place are wonderful. Happy to help with anything, from arranging transport to advice on further travel within Samoa. The breakfasts were also delicious.
I liked the location alot. It was close to many restaurants and the market. I also liked how easy going the people around the hotel. The shower pressure was amazing!
