The host was super helpful in helping us park the car. He was very friendly and offered us some delicious corn tea. Spoke to us in excellent English and had handmade maps with recommendations. My friends and I went during winter so there heaters on every floor. The blankets for the futon were so warm. The kitchen was fully stocked in cooking utensils which were helpful when making food. There were places where we could hangout outside too!

Situated in Minami Aso, 17 km from Naka-dake, Wakka provides a garden. The property is located 19 km from Aso Farm Land. Guests can enjoy mountain views. The home made breakfast taste so good, in Japanese-western style, with homemade jam and honey. The room is clean and comfortable, all equipment are very new and tidy. There is basic kitchen equipment, microwave and small oven which can do some easy cooking. Love the wooden bathroom and toilet, the pleasant natural smell. The room is right facing Mt. Aso. The scenery inside and outside the room is amazing, like a picture. The owners are very nice and helpful.

I traveled by bike in Japan for 3 months and booked 70 hotels in advance. I couldn't help staying here for an extra night. Although it was worth wasting the expenses of the last three hotels to catch up with the itinerary. The open landscape, peaceful temples, traditional architecture, and the warmth of the owner all make people experience the true meaning of "Japan". Next time I have the opportunity, I will stay for one week. Thank you again!

Dying and Hostel Nakashimaya ligger bara 2 minuters promenad från tågstationen Senbabashi och är ett boende endast för kvinnor. Här erbjuds prisvärt boende med gratis Wi-Fi. the host was really kind and friendly, allowed me check in earlier and offered me a larger room with no charge, also introduced the city and shops nearby to me. the place is very cozy and warm, definitely a good choice for a solo traveller with good price, highly recommended.

Close to the towns restaurant options (make sure you go to donut shop).

Ukishimakan Bettei Guest House - Vacation STAY 14350 ligger i Shimo-rokka, 10 km från Kumamoto slott, 11 km från Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei och 13 km från Egao Kenko Kumamoto-stadion. What a delight to stay at this beautiful Japanese style house with an abundance of amazing paintings by the owner. Spacious, cozy and functional rooms as well as the most kind and welcoming host. We would recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a great Japanese experience that really stands out. We would love to come back some time.
