The location is really beautiful, if you like nature this is the place to be. It is in the middle of the jungle so be prepared for the spiders and ants that come with this amazing place. Carlos is also a great cook and prepares delicious food every day. We couldn’t be more happy

Located in Palmar Sur, La Muñequita Lodge 2 - culture & nature experience features free bikes, garden, restaurant, and free WiFi. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a tour desk. The most unexpected highlight of our visit was our stay at this fantastic workaway farm. The place is a wonderland of exquisite plants and wildlife. Our hosts were simply wonderful from the moment we arrived. The cabin blends into the landscape, with open windows on all sides. The sounds and scents of the farm just filled the air and made for a very cozy hideaway. The beds were comfy and the hammock on the balcony was a real bonus. We even had a pet dog for our visit! Workers on the farm are from all over the world and provided us with excellent company and conversation during the family-style dinner we all shared in the main house. Our hostess prepared easily the most delicious meals we had during our entire tour of Costa Rica. She even prepared banana flower, which is wonderful. Unfortunately, heavy rain prevented us from exploring the farm further. But the time we did spend there was very memorable. I wish we'd had more time to stay. Highly, highly recommended.
