Situated in Marahau, 38 km from Nelson, Abel Tasman Lodge features a hot tub and sauna. Abel Tasman National Park is within a 5-minute walk from the property. The room was spacious, well appointed & very comfortable. The view out of our window was very pleasant, looking out at the garden & the local birdlife. The lodge information notes were written with a great sense of humour, which reflected the friendly atmosphere of the whole establishment.

Set 2.5 km from Tapu Bay Beach, Eden's Edge Lodge offers accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Our stay at Eden's Edge Lodge was amazing. The B&B is surrounded by beautiful gardens, and a highlight was watching the sunset from the terrace. Had a wonderful "help yourself" breakfast, with fresh eggs from the hosts' chickens, fresh milk, freshly made scones and muffins. There were also juices, bread, yoghurt and cereals. The kitchen has everything you need, and you can even chop fresh herbs from their garden for your meals. The place has its own little cinema with Netflix and many, many DVDs, and an arcade machine from the 90s with 2500 different games. Also they have cute, and social cats! This was without doubt the best accommodation we had during our 3 weeks road trip through both North and South Island, we felt very welcomed by the hosts and so relaxed in the amazing nature around this place. I hope to go back some time in the future and stay many more days.

Boasting a lovely outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and free Wi-Fi, The Bay Lodge offers stunning views over Golden Bay and the Millennium Reserve. All rooms include a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.

The Waters is a luxury boutique B&B on the Kina Peninsula, just a 30-second walk from the shores of Tasman Bay. Amazing location, excellent service, wish we stayed longer!

Set 50 metres from the nearest beach, BEACH FRONT:Palms-on-the-beach.KAITERITERI offers a private beach area, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. We very much enjoyed our stay at Palms on the beach Kaiteriteri. Paul was an excellent host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The unit is quite spacious with a lovely private outdoor courtyard and views of the beach. The outdoor (but very comfortable) shower and toilet were a delightful novelty. If you are there on the right night, Paul cooks a delicious wood-fired pizza.

With mountain views, Alpine Lodge is set in Saint Arnaud and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and children's playground. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Excellent location and electric blanket was great. Quiet and comfortable room

Set in Pakawau, Whare Aroha: Retreat to Wellness offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and sea views. Some units feature a dining area and/or a balcony.

Stonefly Lodge offers accommodation in Stanley Brook with free cooked breakfast and 4-course gourmet dinner included. There is a games room on site and guests can enjoy the on-site bar.
