Facing the seafront in Kota Belud, Bigfin beach resort features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a garden. The property provides sea views and a terrace. Feels like a hidden gem and private paradise. Great dive shop with charismatic guides, nice boat, sufficient equipment. Great to wake up to a view of Mt Kinabalu and all the food was really lovely home cooking and tasted great. It felt like living in a little community for a couple of days :)

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. I was astounded when we arrived. it’s pretty big complex, but done amazingly well: all wooden elements, batik accents, beautifully maintained. the common spaces are a pleasure to stroll around and the room itself was spacious, clean, with nice decor, huge bathroom and additional bathtub. loved it! on top of that the staff was helpful and kind, food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced

Brunei Darussalam is located on the north coast of Borneo and is a unique kingdom rich in Malay culture, peace, and tranquility. I could enjoy seeing sea from the hotel. Inside was very clean, and all staff was kind. They also arranged my tour around the city.

Set amidst a nature reserve overlooking the South China Sea, Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu features relaxing stays in elegantly furnished guest rooms. amazing resort with huge private beach. i had great time during stay here. i love all the ambience also my room can chill and relax in outside with huge bathub frm private balcony. i was booked in ocean wing with sea view but unfortunately the room was not exactly sea view what i expected, it was like garden view. thank you Shangri La Rasa Ria!

The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The location was great - a short ride from the airport, city, and attractions. The hotel was clean and it had amazing facilities. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. A wonderful stay!

Timba Garden FREE TOWN AND JETTY TRANSPORT has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Semporna. This 5-star resort offers a shared kitchen, room service and free WiFi. Great little spot in a jungle neighborhood. Super friendly owners. We were hungry when we arrived and they were making chicken curry for their lunch, and added us to the preparations. Very unique location. I slept really well then off the next day for diving.
