Shokinkan is set in Yasugi, 27 km from Lake Shinji, 29 km from Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum, and 25 km from Mizuki Shigeru Museum. This is a traditional ryokan which has great food and really lovely staff. We were so well taken care of. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and varied on each of the 3 days that we stayed. Our room was spacious and had a delightful sitting area. The location within the temple grounds was beautiful. We were picked up and dropped back at Yasugi train station, as well as the Adachi museum. Highly recommended.

El Hoshi Ryokan està situat a només 1 minut a peu de l'estació de tren JR de Tsuwano. This is a family owned ryokan and the hosts lady was super nice. She met us at a train station since she knew our train arrival time. That was a nice surprise. The ryokan itself is quite close to the station a couple of minutes walk away from the main town street. Tsuwano is a nice little town and you could easily spend a half or full day there. We had a half board arrangement and it was a blast - full set Japanese dinner with a sake tasting and equally complete Japanese breakfast. Tremendous value and reception! Highly recommend!

Ohashikan is a 5-minute drive from JR Matsue Station and a 15-minute walk from Matsue-jo Castle. It offers Japanese-style accommodation with 2 indoor baths, free parking and free Wi-Fi access. Great location And very nice staff.

5.4 km from Lake Shinji in Matsue, Hotel Gyokusen features accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and public bath. This was a luxurious treat and we all enjoyed it from the welcome by the general manager, the hot spring bath, the food, the room. One of our group had a massage which was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was an amazing buffet of Japanese and Western dishes. The hotel provided transport by shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Communications via booking.com worked well.

Counting an almost 200-year history, Fukumakan features Japanese-style rooms and freestanding cottages, some overlooking Miho Bay. A real discovery: Mihonoseki is a special place, a fishermen's village away from everything and still quite convenient to reach. I stayed at one of the Fukumakan annex houses. A beautiful old Japanese house, perfectly maintained with all conforts one might need. Lovely views of the port from the first floor. Breakfast and dinner are also a special treat in Japanese fish cuisine. Highly recommended

OWL RESORT ARIFUKU ONSEN is located in the Arifuku Onsen district of Gotsu, 13 km from Gotsu City General Citizen Center Milky Way Hall, 41 km from Nima Sand Museum and 47 km from Iwami Ginzan World... The hotel is clean and maintained in perfect condition. The environment was very nice and quiet . The crews are perfect. The dinner was of superb style and quality. The stay was fantastic.
