Incredible. Beautiful surroundings and although right on a roundabout of a busy road it was so tranquil. The rooms and pool were wonderful. The restaurants in the village minutes walk away were fantastic. Will definitely be back.

A lovely cosy apartment with great views. The private car park was an added bonus although there was ample free on street parking nearby. The location is great with all of the amenities within an easy walk. The beach is just across the street. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this apartment and I would love to stay here again if and when I return to Armacao de Pera.

As a family from the UK, we're very aware of the Algarve's...
As a family from the UK, we're very aware of the Algarve's reputation for 'Brits abroad'. And we wanted to stay somewhere less rowdy and more authentically Portuguese. We read that Armação de Pêra is popular with Portuguese visitors, and that the vibe is a lot more chilled and family friendly than e.g. Albufeira. Thankfully, this was absolutely correct – the town had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and everyone was very welcoming. The beach is absolutely stunning and never felt crowded. There's a great choice of restaurants and everywhere is reasonably priced, at least for us who are used to paying GBP. And the vibe at night was very chilled. It also takes only 40 minutes by taxi to get to Faro airport – so it really is ideal if you have a young family. The town itself is not the prettiest, as it's mostly modern apartment blocks. But there's enough charm and character along and near the promenade to make it pleasant to stroll around. And, honestly, you're going to want to spend all your time on the beautiful beach anyway.

The town is big but most houses and some shops seemed closed (late October, early November) but you can find anything you need and it's a good location to travel both East and west fo the Algerve.

I stay here regularly, its a great town a mix of local and visiting people, but nothing like Albufeira, the beach is perfect for running, swimming. The Market is wonderful. Apartment was clean and very well equipped, also air conditioned inlcuding bedrooms. Short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, including Bistro 176 and bar near kids playground. Some lovely reasonably priced restaurants Pera Bistro, Olivemar, Italian, Palm Beach.

Beautiful location. Relaxing and wonderful scenery gardens well maintained and rooms clean and air-conditioning perfect. Attentive and pleasant staff at reception and in dining areas. Beautiful beach, perfect break away in the quieter winter...
Beautiful beach, perfect break away in the quieter winter months. Holiday Inn is right on the beach and if you book a sea view room you won’t be disappointed. Some lovely Portuguese restaurants locally. Love coming back here whenever we can.

The hotel takes advantage of the fact that it has been there for decades. Of course, it is after an overall modern and sensitive reconstruction. However, the biggest benefit is Thallasotherpy. Fully equipped kitchen with possibly every item one might require. Rui and Anna are perfect hosts and always available if needed. A good location to visit other areas. Private dedicated car parking on site which is a bonus especially when the area is busier. The photos on the website do not reflect how light and bright the apartment actually is.

The location of the hotel is outstanding, right in front of the beach, and practically in the middle of magnificent Algarve Coast. As we had a rented car, we could explore the entire coast, and see the beautiful beaches and caves. The hotel room was very big, with a generous terrace facing the Atlantic Ocean. Staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. The pool and gym were excellent too.

I booked a room for my birthday and they gave me a free upgrade and a Vip treatment with a slice of cake and a bottle of wine. The girls at the reception were super friendly and helpful in any possible way. The room was spotless clean and the location walking distance from the center, a very nice beach and a hiking path. I am definitely coming back.
