I went away for a nice quiet trip for my birthday and to escape the chaos of London and that’s what I got. Östersund is a beautiful and quiet place to stay. I will definitely be coming back, I can’t wait to try the Swedish summer. Wayne’s coffee shop was n enjoyable place to stop and have some lunch.

Easy to reach as close to the train station. Main reason for choosing this hotel. Hotel was already closed as we arrived late. But the instructions how to get in have been good and everything worked out well.
It was very quiet in the room which surprised me and is a great plus if you like to sleep a bit longer than the rest of the other guests.
Close to the city center, beautiful building, nice view over the city and onto Frösön. own bathroom wasn't extraordinary but totally fine. Kitchen was big, clean and had a lot of appliances etc. Check in on a Saturday without staff worked perfectly and could easily extend my stay. Definitely have had worse beds in Hostels so all good.
The positive things were a friendly staff , a very varied and tasty breakfast and the fact that the hotel is close to everything: the train station, Jamtli, the cosy shopping streets, the compact city center, and all the restaurants in the area where the food is simply delicious.
This is an awesome hotel at the very center of Östersund. It's an old building and in that lies it's charm. The room felt spacious and had a great bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful with a great variety of food.
Breakfast good and sure hotel staff

Pensionat bjornen Hotel was shit hole
Place I will never go back again
Slammed the doors all night like g'damn police.
very intuitive self service to check in, good guidance sent in advance. Great room in the middle of the city. Coffee machine in kitchen was especially valuable!
The ambience of the hotel, the rooms, staff at the reception and the service was great. The spa was also nice. The spa therapist/masseuse Carina was fantastic.
