The breakfast was very good. The room was a bit smaller that we are used to. There was somewhere to sit but it was not a place that was suitable for drying my hair and putting on make-up as the only mirror was not nearby. Anyway, we managed okay. Staff were very accommodating. We hadn't eaten that afternoon but we were told we could have a take-away in the bar. Therefore, a few doors down from the hotel we got a really lovely Chinese Take-Away.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this guest house. I was warmly welcomed and shown around. Options at breakfast were excellent. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Clearly guests are treated very well, and supported in their stay. I would add that I potentially lost an item at the hotel, and the staff helped me a great deal, they let me back int he room and I was pakced off with a coffee for a long jounrey.
My parents stayed at this hotel for my son's christening. They absolutey loved it! They said that the owners were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were flawless. The breakfast was varied and good quality. There was also apparently a Northern Soul night on during their stay which my dad thoroughly enjoyed. Any time my parents need to visit the North East they be staying at this hotel. What a find!
Staff was lovely, couldn’t of done anymore , we came with 3 children and they loved it the room the bed the Netflix everything , would defo be coming again , there was a soul night which was explained to us and dint bother us at all , by far the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in . Very modern and overall beutiful.
Excellent breakfast, good choices available. The hotel room was comfortable and had everything needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to enable us to visit Seaham, Welfare Park, the Royal Navy Museum and Heugh Battery Museum at the Headland.
The hotel was absolutely lovely. Modern. Very very clean. Room was spot on. Facilities great. Near the sea. The staff were amazing. Friendly and accomodated everything required. I honestly can't say enough and will 100% stay there again. Thank you so much
Breakfast was lovely. All freshly cooked by the owner.
The room we had was the courtyard studio - situated on its own in the hotels beer garden. The room was very modern, clean, had everything we needed. The TV was the biggest I’ve seen in a hotel room.
The hotel and facilities were immaculate, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was a problem. This hotel is beautiful and we can’t recommend it highly enough.
