The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the area for a friend's wedding and as a result, were in and out at all sorts of times with weird schedules. The staff we always incredibly friendly and helpful in everything from where to get local money, to taxis and room service and food out of normal hours. The room service was really good and the people were helpful on our last day of check out. The room was kept very clean whenever we were out and the flowers in the reception and views from top floors were fabulous.

Rabat is the capital of Morocco. The streets and Medina of Rabat are much wider and cleaner. The Kasbah is not so clean but still a good place to visit. One night / 2 days in Rabat is good enough time to see everything around.

Rabat is interesting for a day.
Rabat is interesting for a day. The main sight is the Kasbah which is free to enter. You DO NOT need a guide and it IS NOT about to close, despite what all the touts try to tell you. Walking around the medina is interesting and safe.

Not a fan of Rabat, it was cleaner than the other cities we visited but there was not much to do other than the Medina and the tourist places to visit. I enjoyed Marrakech and Fez. If I go back to Morocco I would skip Rabat.

Is small city , specifically the medina is the best part, just like you are back in old time, the narrow street and people live their is the same as in Pakistan culture old city Lahore they have the same style of old houses, but Rabat is quite and small ,Lahore is 2 nhs largest city of Pakistan , population of nearly 170 million , they also preserved the old city just like medina in rabat

I would recommend Rabat. It is a very modern city.
I would recommend Rabat. It is a very modern city.
The city is extraordinarily clean and very safe.
Every person we met was kind, funny and charismatic.
The medina is the highlight and absolutely incredible.
Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum are great as well.
Walking along the "river" is recommended as well, as there are some restaurants to eat something sweet and enjoying the view.
Rabat isn't a typical capital. Rabat only has 500'000 inhabitants and it shows. Therefore, it's a rather quiet town, restaurants close early and there aren't too many.
I would recommend maximum a week, maybe less.
Taxis are very professional and can be used for transport. Cheap and without scammers.
If you are in Rabat, you have to visit Dar Naji. If you didn't eat there during your stay, you weren't in Rabat.

Beautiful city with a lot to see.
Beautiful city with a lot to see. I recommend taking a short walking tour- I booked a wonderful woman, Asmaa, through guru walks. She is a licensed guide and although I am not usually a fan of tours this was a few hours well spent- and no one else showed up so it was just me! Learned a lot and made a friend….
Outstanding experience and place. This was our first time in Morocco. This place was was perfect for our family of four adults. Clean, comfortable, great location. The owners/managers of this lovely two bedroom apartment responded promptly to any questions. They provided us with helpful information. They were kind and smart and friendly. With a short taxi ride, we were able to catch the train north or south for day trips. I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Rabat!
This Riad was one of the most beautiful places on our Morocco trip. Mr. Hicham helped us in everything and always welcomed us with a smile. Even though it was very early in the morning, our room was ready. The interior architecture of the Riad and the breakfast presentations made us feel like we were in Morocco and we had fun. Thank you very much for everything. If you go to Rabat, we definitely recommend you to stay at this Riad.
Rabat was the first city in our trip to Morocco. Thanks to Dar Aida and personally Majid and Sophie our stay in Rabat was perfect. The hotel is wonderful, located near the entrance to medina, so that it didn’t take much to find it, with a nice inner hall, like in a traditional riad. The room was big, with everything necessary, shower and a toilet. The breakfast was great, a traditional Morrocan one. Totally recommend this hotel!
Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh, local Moroccan delicacies and international dishes in a charming dining area. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, with every corner of the room and public areas maintained to the highest standards. I highly recommend Smarts Hotel Rabat for a luxurious and comfortable stay, where every detail is carefully attended to, ensuring a memorable experience.
It was a very beautiful time in Morocco with Dar Kika Salam. The hotel is clean and in a beautiful central location. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The service staff are friendly.
Above all, we had the pleasure with the service employee Hicham, he helped us with all matters and gave us good tips. We hope that when we come back, Hicham will be there too.
Thank you Dar Kika Salam, thank you Hicham.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. It was easy to find and very pretty inside. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us in arranging a taxi to the train station on our departure day. Breakfast was tasty and available at any time of our choosing. I’d definitely recommend this as a great home base for exploring Rabat, an under-appreciated gem of a city in Morocco.
I want to thank the hotel for helping my father with his stay in Rabat. He could not find the hotel so he called the hotel and they sent someone to pick him up. They helped him in so many ways and I am grateful for that. He said the hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was very good and fresh. We really recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely would come back. Thank you!!
This is a private villa. The host is wonderful. His name is Dr. Nassif. He hosted us with all sincerity. He took care of everything and everything we needed. He even offered us places to visit and was very friendly. I advise everyone, especially those who come to Rabat in Morocco and are looking for a wonderful and prestigious place.
We arrived at Riad Marhaba late at night and they had dinner there waiting for us. We only stayed one night, but the host let us leave our bags at the riad while we explored Rabat. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, some of the best food I’ve had in Morocco. All the staff were also very friendly.
Very central location near Rabat Ville train station, close to tram also. Renovated old hotel from outside looks like new, but the rooms are older, but clean and very comfortable with big bathroom and amenities (no hairdryer).
I arrived by taxi from the airport late night and left early morning.
The best accommodation at the end of our trip around Morocco. Beautiful cosy room with nice bathroom. Access to the roof terrace. Call to prayer is further away from the hotel so it's almost inaudible.
Everyone here is very helpful and nice. For 10/10 and thank you so much. 🍀
Rooms are super clean and sound proof.
Rooms get cleaned every day.
And what I liked the most about the hotel is its location. It's very close to Agdal train station. You don't even have to take a taxi to go there.
There are also lounges where to sit and wait for the check in.
The finest hotel in all of Rabat. Superb location, with friendly and professional staff throughout. Beautifully decorated rooms, clean, comfy and a generous supply of soaps and drinks. There is a very tasty breakfast served downstairs and lovely views from the roof terrace.
Fantastic Riad in the middle of the Medina in Rabat. Very beautiful and cozzy. The room was big and the decoration was so maroccan style. It was clean and warm. The woman working there was very nice and helpful. Se recommended us really nice local restaurants.
Paradise like feeling with the beautiful gardens and swimming pool. The only city-center Hotel to be able to offer this. I also visited Fairmont, even though that hotel is more luxurious. Sofitel in Rabat has my preferance by far.
This is by far the best hotel in Rabat. The location is perfect and the staff very kind and generous. Breakfast was delicious and a real delight. We felt very lucky to stay here during our time in Rabat.
I spent 3 weeks in Morocco between hotels and riads. This one was the best of all: location, cleanliness, staff friendliness, breakfast, suitability in every aspect as I believe.
The hotel was beautiful, the staff was delightful and the location was magical! We will stay there again and recommend it to anyone who might be traveling to Rabat.
