Kivik is a small town with a few nice shops and at least one good restaurant. We walked along the sea front and stumbled upon a stone circle in a field of cows. I’d liked to have stayed longer and hiked in the national (?) park just up the road. It was an enchanting area.

I highly recommend this place for all who likes still and county side far away from the crowded and noisy city centre.

The interior is filled with authentic design and all rooms are unique and named by famous authors. The owners are truly passionate about their hotel. It’s clean, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is generous. This is a hidden gem.

We were surprised to see in the evening two deers, a pheasant and some rabbits entering the garden. Alf and Kerstin are great hosts and we like to thank them for the good time we had.
