Set in a 16th-century renaissance palace building which retains its original Jewish bath, Hosteria Real de Zamora is set in the center of Zamora, beside the Romanesque stone bridge.

I love that they haven’t made it modern as it has so much history. The location couldn’t be better and the breakfast was very good. The staff are super nice and so very, very helpful. I slept fantastically the 2 nights we were there. The room was very good overlooking the Duero river and the beautiful bridge. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Good to visit for an overnight stay. Easily see the attractive old buildings and shopping district in one day. Seems to be poor for restaurants /tapas bars but maybe those closed when I visited opened at other times.

Still a bit of a hidden gem.
Still a bit of a hidden gem. The historic city is beautiful and old. The view over the river and land is amazing. It's a provincial Castillian town, very authentically Spanish. Very easy to get around on foot. The food is excellent and affordable. Calle de los Herreros is where you find great bars with tasty dishes.

Well worth a visit for a few days.
Well worth a visit for a few days. We only stayed one night which wasn't really long enough. Two or three nights would have been better.
There are lots of historic buildings in Zamora, the Cathedral and castle on top of the hill probably being the most notable buildings with great views.
Lot of local restaurants and bars. Fantastic local wines.

For me, Zamora was the first Spanish city I had visited that was not overrun by foreign tourists. In fact in the two daysI was there I only heard about a half a dozen people speaking anything but Spanish. It has a treasure trove of Romanesque architecture and also of early twentieth century architecture, lovingly preserved and maintained, not for the purpose of harvesting visitors' euros, but because the community deems it worthwhile. One of my best memories of my visit was being able to wander through the narrow, twisting streets of the old city from open square to square in the company of only a handful of local people. It was indeed the first time in five visits to Spain that I felt I was visiting an unadulterated Spanish city.

We visited in November… Spain is cold and wet at this time so the town seems of course wintery. We walked to old town … it would be spectacular in good weather. It would be a good summer place to visit.
The host Óscar was very nice, helpful and flexible. He explained us the city, recommended great places. Thanks to him we enjoyed Zamora like locals.
The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. The cute patio was airy and very comfy. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere.
We will definitely come back! Highly recommended!
Classic hotel right in the city centre of Zamora, carefully renovated but still 'old style' in some aspects. That means many good things as professional staff, good isolation from surrounding rooms (we sleep until late and no sound at all came into our room) or the good quality of the blinds (no light at all). Recommended.
The Parador Zamora was a beautiful facility, with convenient parking. The rooms were very spacious and elegant. The bed was very comfortable, and even though the hotel is right by a public square, it was very quiet.
We ate at the hotel and the service was impeccable.
The location was excellent, right on plaza major, close to everything. Spacious apartment, very basic kitchen , but we do not cook on holidays. Heater worked fine in the cold mornings of May. Parking was 5 minutes walk away in the public underground carpark.
A true Spanish family hotel with an authenticity not often found. Situated just outside the casco viejo, it avoids the usual parking problems, although it is still difficult, The receptionist was extremely helpful with the parking. Breakfast was excellent.
The location was right in the centre of town near Plaza Mayor.
It had all the facilities we needed: kitchen, washing machine, comfy beds etc.
It had a very spacious lounge and dining area and balconies overlooking a small plaza.
The host is such an incredible person - he helped us getting around Zamora, which such insightful tips about the city. The hotel is also very central, which is nice for commodity.
Well located. Clean & comfortable. Quiet. Spacious bathroom. Very welcome espresso machine! Efficient check-in. Perfect for an overnight stop when travelling across the region.
The food in the restaurant was outstanding and totally unexpected.
We were expecting a budget overnight stop which turned out to be very good value indeed.
