I was absolutely lost in all of the amazing food stalls at the night market. That pretty much took my entire agenda. I originally wanted to go to take a dance class however I arrived too late. Transportation is rather swift and easy. I think there is definitely a lot to explore with this area so I'm excited for my next visit.

Great small city with lots to do, great food, and awesome night markets. Loved every second of my evening there, wandering around and checking out all the small back alleys and cafes/restaurants. Great people too!

Nighttime walking in Zhongli is excellent.
Nighttime walking in Zhongli is excellent. Thousands of small shops, restaurants, bars, spas. The night market area is full of 'one-item' street foods for pennies ($NT 15-60) and open very late (as late as 11pm for street vendors).

We were there on a 22 hour layover, so it was just enough time to sleep and spend a few hours checking out the city before our flight. City was clean and easy to navigate, with some shopping and good eats all around us.

It's a medium size city where lots of foreign workers coming from South Asia gather here for work. Excellent location and traveller can easily arrive in this district by taking the metro, bus, train or taxi.
Lots of food stands, night markets and chain restaurants that offer a variety of choices of the food (especially traditional Taiwanese food, such as rice noodles, huge fired chicken stake, spring roll, and of course, bubble tea!
If you transfer flight in Taiwan and still get around 5 to 6 hours, Zhongli is a good place to spend your time here.
So we stayed three nights.
I rate the staff 10. Cleanliness 9 out of 10
stars. Room and facilities 8 out of 10 stars
too! We checked in for a second stay
before heading back to Aus.
However note that this is not a five
star hotel on a global rating system.
I am rating it for a hotel in a good location
close to Zhongli, Taoyuan. Compared to other
hotels in the area this deserves 5 out of 5
stars & particularly Kenny and the rest of
the team. Their effort is exceptional
and they all speak quite good English.
The hotel is on the top floors of the tallest building in Zhongli which is quite impressive. I really enjoyed looking out at the night view.
Even though the building is about 30 years old, the hotel was renovated in 2015 and it feels quite fresh with nice decor and furniture.
The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the cleaners who would greet me.
It's also very convenient being next to the Laojie metro station.
I plan to stay here again in the future.
The hotel is new and easy access to Taoyuan HSR Station by foot. The hotel also offered a shuttle bus service between the HSR station and the hotel. There are plenty of eateries round the hotel. The gym was well equipped with cross trainer, treadmill, bicycle and weights. The room was modern, spacious and with plenty of natural light.
The hotel is just next to MRT station, so is very convenient if you are looking to explore Taoyuan. Room wise is comfortable with good pressure of hot water shower. The hotel is located at the top floor of this particular building, so you can get a good view of surrounding.
Pleasant surprise, on main street, superb staff and has complimentary hot/cold water dispenser, tea coffee in lobby, plus a laundry room. Hotel is on the entire 4th floor of an apartment block, with clear signage on the main road, 4mins walk to Laojie River MRT station.
