Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, near the Airport, great staff . Most friendly and helpful boss, receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

KINGS GATE Hotel is a large hotel, with a lot of Asian people in it (ironic)we stayed in this hotel on the first day. There were no much people staying that day. Very friendly staff and the suite we stayed was spacious and clean.It’s a great place to stay.... Staff were friendly caring and pleasant, starting from the reception. Meals are very good and delicious...Overall, I had a great experience Thanks very much KINGS GATE HOTEL

Jayantha and his wife made sure that they made our stay memorable inspite of checking in at 1130 pm. The following morning they made sure we had our teas and coffes and was also kind enough to drive us to the airport. Another great example of ari lankan hospitality. We only stayed here about 12 hours but my parents totally loved it and loved the hospitality. The building is exceptionally well maintained for being over 100 years old with all the bathrooms upgraded with a modern contemporary minimalist feel with open spaces and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Less than a 3 min drive to the airport, please stay here on your way into and out of colombo especially if a long journey awaits you. Highly recommended. 5/5!!

Otha Shy Airport Hotel offers accommodation in Katunayaka. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Clean rooms, a real nice breakfast and very responsive front desk. A nice place close to the airport.

Dormitory for 8 people was empty (there is lot of rooms cant imagine this room full) I was there alone. bunk beds are new, every bed has own plug, fan, light. you can use space of the hotel with wifi, they have bar with nice prices and nonstop (what really suprised me) restaurant in the garden. staff was really helpful and location from airport is really close - you can walk in 15-20 minutes to airport. Also reachable with bus from Colombo main bus station - but kind of tricky to find bus 265 :-)

Good location very close to the airport. Staff including the manager Dinesh and his wife and their respective parents were excellent hosts. The manager even dropped me to Kirulapone, Colombo.
