With picturesque views of the River Göta, a Jacuzzi and a variety of leisure facilities, this Vänersborg hotel is found close to Lake Vänern. breakfast was fair but not great. location was very pretty but it is in a location where there is a migrant center. lots of people floating around. did not feel like the place was very professionally run.

Clarion Collection Hotel Kung Oscar is a charming hotel located in a calm area of Trollhättan near the railway station, Göta Älv and waterfalls. A light evening buffet is included for guests. This hotel is situated in the center of Trollhättan in a calm neighborhood. Hotel is in hygge style, which truly amazed me! Breakfast was in for of exceptional Swedish tables. I am looking forward to come back again!

Dating back to the 14th century, Ronnum Herrgård is housed in a manor at the southern point of Lake Vänern. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The room is very nicely styled, makes you feel right at home. Bathroom looks a little more old-fashioned, but still decent. The facilities and breakfast are great. The building looks very picturesque as well.

The owners were very kind and allowed us for early/late checkout. 1h hour driving from Gotemburg.

This property is beautifully located in the center of Trollhättan, by the canal waterfront. Scandic Swania was built in the early 1900s as a city hall. It suited our needs and was very central which helped us as we don’t have a car
