It was very comfortable place with a nice and large room. The room had a beautiful view. The place is literally next to Swiss border and it is so convenient to get there for a walk as well as Como lake.

The road to the house is rather steep and narrow but the views are absolutely stunning. We were warmly welcomed by an amazing person - Vittorio, the host of the place. We came late and were hungry - Vittorio offered us 3 pizzas and a bottle of nice wine, even though the property doesn't provide dinner. Vittorio is very interesting person, we had long talks with him about everything. He used to work as a photographer - he showed us his great works. He's a father of 2 kind, well-trained dogs, we enjoyed petting them. The view of the lake and mountains from the property is just stunning. Have a walk at night - view at the stars is incredible.

Also, you could easily walk to the lake and it was still work on it

Featuring a garden with swimming pool and free bike rental, Agriturismo alla Poncia is 450 metres from the shores of Lake Como. Its actually really nice that it was a small property - gave us a more quiet and cosy feeling. Property is very nicely refurbished and literally has everything what is needed for family holidays, swimming pool, sun beds, grill available in the terrace near the pool, we also had our own terrace with personal sun loungers, lake ans local town is just a short walk away, local supermarket as well. There was bikes available to rent free of charge and bikes came in all sizes as well all bike seats available for really little ones, lovely Paola even provided us with a bike lock. There was lots of other outdoor toys available for the kids. Really is a perfect little hotel for a family holiday.
