From the moment we booked, we received a lovely message from Fiona. Just a message to say thanks for booking and if there was anything we needed prior to arrival. We also arrived into Portree a little bit earlier than expected and she let us know that the apartment was ready before the check in time. Upon arrival we were greeted with some chocolates and fresh flowers. There was also milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge. There were so many little touches that made everything so personable. The apartment is situated perfectly close to all amenities and sight seeing. The only thing I wish we could have done was book for longer! It was such a relaxing and beautiful apartment. We are already looking at booking again, if you are in any doubt because of the rare negative comment then please don't, just book and I promise you will not regret it. The apartment, service and cleanliness exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much Fiona & team for making our stay so perfect!

The house is very clean and organized. The bed, the shower and the appliances were very complete. The host provided simple breakfast, juice and coffee, which we truly appreciated. The host also lent us various objects from their home which we appreciated very very much!

Totally agree with what all the other reviews said, ie photos don’t do the actual apartment justice! Everything was perfect. The apartment was well equipped and it was spotless, cleaner than my own apartment! Shona was the most friendly host. We had so much fun chatting and sharing stories. The pantry was well stocked, from dried goods to fruits, cheese, milk, juices, beers! The bed was very comfortable. Hot water and heating were super efficient as well. In short, the best short term stay we experienced yet!

Everything was amazing, facilities at property were great, house was super cosy with more than you need in it. Owner although we never met her is a super host. She left milk, water and orange juice in the fridge. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again myself.

Lovely cottage in the countryside. Ideally located in the middle of Skye island. Really cosy set up with a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. We would stay again if we were back on Skye island.
