Set in Durham and only 20 km from Beamish Museum, 52 Old Elvet offers accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. I did have some issues activating the keypad and had to reach out to the host who promptly responded. Once I got the hang of it there were no issues. The accommodations were GORGEOUS and were in the BEST spot. There was so much to walk to including stores, bars, restaurants, and row boats that you row yourself!

Comprising of converted farm buildings and new purpose-built apartments, Plawsworth Hall is located in Chester-le-Street, not far from Lumley Castle. WiFi is provided throughout the properties. Quiet, comfortable, large, well equipped apartment. Beautiful views of the countryside. Easy to get to Durham and surrounding areas. One of the best showers we've ever had. Great value for money. Highly recommend this lovely place.

Located in Durham and only 20 km from Beamish Museum, Homely 2 Story Cathedral City Apartment provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Super directions to the quaint 3 story house with the red door. Quiet and peaceful location, yet within 12 minutes walking distance to the centre of town, partly along the beautiful river. We especially liked the kitchen/dining area. This was after the 3rd flight of stairs and was an incredible surprise as we opened the door to a huge, inviting space. We spent most of our time in the dining area, when not out walking in Durham, drinking coffee or wine as we watched the clouds pass overhead through the skylight windows. The bathrooms were excellent. Everything was better than I had experienced in the Radisson and the Marriott. Having your own kitchen/dining room and 2 pristine bathrooms made this place very special. The owner was very responsive to our email.

Coastal Apartments No 2 is a beachfront property situated in Seaham, 1.4 km from Seaham Beach and 1.6 km from Blast Beach. The apartment was very clean. I loved that there was a second bedroom with a bunk bed for my kids. We had a great stay!
