In the heart of Inverness, Carisbrooke Guest House offers contemporary en suite rooms with TVs. There is free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Great guesthouse. Joy is the best possible host. The room was small but comfortable with all the needed appliances. Breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again if/when I come back to Inverness.

Wonderful location out on a quiet peninsula. The hosts were so kind and helpful and the house is fabulously decorated. There is a great hike near the property that goes across a tidal causeway. It’s definitely worth it for the views. We bought a snacks in town and had a wonderful picnic at the property enjoying the view. Breakfast is simple & delicious.

Located in Avoch, the recently renovated Room at the Back, 2 George Street provides accommodation 18 km from Inverness Castle and 18 km from Inverness Railway Station. Rachael was really friendly and helpful and she went out of her way to help me explore the Fairy Glen hiking trail in the limited time I was there. The location was nice and central to what I wanted to see. Bus stops were very close, which made traveling easy. And I loved the personal touch with a handwritten welcome note, flowers and a little card.

Beinn Mhor Lodge is set in the Inverness City Centre district of Inverness, 2.7 km from Inverness Railway Station, 3.4 km from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness and 13 km from Castle... We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Mary-Anne was hospitable and welcoming; the room was extremely comfortable with high-quality bedding. The bathroom was spotless. Bonus: she has two cute Beagles Harry and Frazer if you are a dog lover like we are :)
