Set in Fès, in a historic building, 2 km from Royal Palace Fes, Medina social club is a guest house with a bar and shared lounge. It was beyond my expectation! It is more like a hotel rather than a hostel. Best place I stayed in Morocco by far. Well decorated and cosy, super rooftop terras. Clean and cheap, considering the amazing breakfast you get (with bread, jam, olives, cheese, tea or coffee and different pastries every day). I really enjoyed the common areas.

We had the most amazing time in Dar Hafsa. Abdulkarim, his son Aziz and Mounhir made us feel so welcome and at home. They helped us with getting around the Medina, where to buy a nice carpet with a wonderful authentic Berber family (family Koko), booking an authentic hammam,... The Dar is beautiful, like a museum, located very convenient in the Medina. We would highly recommend this place!

I loved everything about the place! We got a room upgrade and the staff was super nice and helpful. The room had a balcony that overlooked the inner courtyard and the ceilings were amazing! Located in Fès, 1.6 km from Royal Palace Fes, Riad Tarab Fes provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a tour desk. We loved the location and the staff! Zakaria was so helpful and accommodating. We had day trips leaving early and he ensured we had packed breakfast, he walked with me to the bank to show me the way and made wonderful recommendations for local restaurants. The riad was beautiful!
