The room was pretty big and I had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable and it was also very quiet. I will definitely be back.

Only 200 metres from the Sava River, Hiša Aleš is set in the centre of Breg ob Savi. What a wonderful surprise to discover Hisa Ales. From the moment we entered and were greeted with a friendly face and a brandy cordial, our stay just got better. A nicely appointed and quiet room was expected at the highly rated Hisa Ales. What enhanced our experience was the food and service we received. Our dinner was outstanding – very fresh ingredients presented with flair. To accompany our meal – regional sausages and vegetables - our server recommended some brilliant local craft beers, our favorite being No Bullshit Lager. Breakfast which was included in our stay was a perfect way to start our day – a lovely assortment of fresh foods and if you desired an omelet cooked for you. However, what made our stay special was the exceptional service we received. From checking in, to our wonderful server at dinner who had excellent recommendations and a fabulous sense of humour, and to the owner that ensures his guests leave satisfied, it’s a challenge to find better. A touch off the well travelled roads, it’s a diversion well worth your time.

Located in a peaceful spot surrounded by oak trees, Garni Pension Pibernik is a family-run bed and breakfast with free WiFi access. Lake Bled is 2 km from the property. Breakfast was great. It's quite a walk out of town but that just meant guaranteed peace.

A recently renovated property, Rooms Murka is set in Bled near Grajska beach, Sports Hall Bled and Bled Castle. We were assigned a bigger room, which was nice. We were initially nervous about noise as the rooms are just above the restaurant, but the music did stop before bedtime thankfully. It was easy to park the car (car space just outside the building), easy to walk to the lake and a delicious cake shop is just metres away.

Situated in Bohinj, in a historic building, 700 metres from Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj, Zotlar House is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and shared lounge. Clean, with large comfortable bed, small but functional bathroom with good shower. Located between Bled and Bohinj lake and near Kobla ski area. We had access to common kitchen and large common dining area. There is also private parking for 4 cars.

A recently renovated guest house in Kranjska Gora, Erjavčeva mountain hut at Vršič pass offers sun terrace, parking on-site and sports facilities. Perfect location for going in both directions. Loved the hospitality and the food was great.
