Property images on booking.com didn’t match the time we actually paid for. Discussed with park and they made it right.

Always a good trip to Airlie.
Always a good trip to Airlie. Weather was a bit wanky but otherwise great, plenty to see and do regardless. If you are keen on some outdoor and open water activities, Airlie is the place to be. Family-friendly with a great night life for the single crowd, there's something for everyone. Plenty of great places to explore, a variety of food options, and an overall great town for the general day to day. Living less than 2 hours away does make it a go-to for a quick getaway, and choices range from camping to hotels to Air BnB stays, there really is a place to suit everyone. Town is always vibrant and busy with something going on.

What a great place to visit.
What a great place to visit. The weather is great, the town is abuzz with great bars and restaurants. The Airlie lagoon is a great place for kids to swim. The Coral sea marina is a magic place to hang out at night to relax and enjoy some fine dining. The Garden Bar, Sorrento and the Rocks are great places to start.
Getting around Airlie is so easy. Taxis run constantly and are readily available. Most resorts run shuttles 3 to 4 times a day into the Airlie lagoon and airport transfers can be organised depending on the where you're staying.

I Need Airlie Beach!
I Need Airlie Beach! It has destressed me many times after extreme personal or work stress.
The view, the perfect water temps in unheated pools, the ten minute rain storms that give way to a perfect day.
It is better to stay at Airlie Beach, in my opinion, than on the islands, as they offer greater amenities and diversity, plus you still have to charter a boat from an Island or the mainland anyway. Tip for the island resorts: Offer discounted or all inclusive water charter packages and advertise it heavily, or find yourselves derelict facilities bought by a Chinese Company.
Always check the weather. Bad weather or Coral spawning night means poor water clarity.
Don't swim where the locals won't, due to crocs and Wear your Stinger suit. A box jellyfish came within a foot of me a week ago before I saw it and I have been snorkelling since 1985, spending countless hours and a total of four weeks camping on Lady Musgrave Island.
Don't book during the wet season if you are not prepared to be dissatisfied with a patch of bad weather. Do your research.
The Heart Hotel was a great place to stay in Airlie Beach - right in the centre of town meaning that everything was easily accessible. We also didn't have any issues with noise as mentioned in some of the other reviews (the double glazing did its job well). It was a lovely hotel and everything was too a high quality while we were there. We would highly recommend.
The hostel is right in the middle of the heart of airlie beach but set back from the road amongst the jungle. Everything was super clean, the kitchen was so so clean and well organised! And the stay was so cheap (just had the standard twin room), aircon and kettle in the room too and $5 pppn bag storage for our boat trip. Not noisy either. Thanks so much!
We loved everything about our stay at Whitsunday Waterfront Apartments. The Apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Amazing view from the second we walked in. Quick Cab trip into Airlie Beach. Hosts are lovely and friendly & the cafe next door has great breakfast & coffee which we found great. we will be back for sure.
Lovely space to stay while in Airlie Beach. Pool was nice to relax around. Close vicinity to main area (bit of a walk up the hill on warm days- but cheap to get a taxi back if needed!). Reception staff were always very nice and organised airport shuttles for us. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!
Excellent location on the main road of Airlie beach, close to everything! Hotel offers bag storage if you are heading onto a boat for a few days as well as bus/ airport transport if you need it. The rooms were lovely, everything you need, very clean and extremely comfortable beds!
we had 2 reservations to this hotel - one with jetstar (and the room was not very good - old and disappointed bathroom/toilet room 66) one with booking.com ( at the same price but very well equiped, modern - unfortunately we had injury with some glass on the floor - room 26)
The studio apartment was huge. About three times the size of a hotel room. The bathroom/shower were very spacious for a studio, and the balcony was big too. We loved the 2.5km walk into town along the boardwalk and did it several times a day. The pool area was really nice.
We absolutely loved the location, the view from our room was perfect. The hotel is close to everything with an amazing restaurant downstairs the had a fantastic atmosphere , great food and the perfect location ! We had no idea just how amazing Airlie Beach is .
2nd stay here, 15 years apart and apartments still as lovely. Staff were very helpful and apartments were lovely and clean and well catered for families.
Views over Airlie beach are stunning from the balcony and the infinity pool is the icing on the cake.
a great small family run hotel/apartments with
everything you need. Chris and Fiona were so
helpful, bed super comfy with pillow options.
The view was amazing over the Marina, would
stay again, excellent value for money.
Modern, very comfortable, fabulous view from the balcony and so close to Airlie Beach shops restaurants and the beautiful boardwalk:) well equipped kitchenette as well.
The apartments have the best views in Airlie Beach. Each room has a fantastic vista out to sea. Very modern and lovely and clean.
Highly recommend a stay here.
