Location location location! I LOVED looking out over the lush, manicured lawn and tree filled landscape knowing the river was flowing through this peaceful scene.
Great walk up to Donnelly's Weir takes you on a two hour stroll with varied scenery and levels of difficulty. You really feel like you're away from the madding crowd (I was there at 7am).
I was lucky to bump into lovely Sharon the host, and we shared our passion for infrared saunas (why I booked this place) and she showed me her spectacular edible garden. The raspberries were so delicious plucked plump and warm off the vine. Can thoroughly recommend this experience. Make sure you take time to sit in the hammock and just be.
Brooklands Apartments is located 100 meters from Healesville Main Street. Both apartments have open plan living/dining/kitchenette area and a deck with mountain views.

Some great restaurants, wasy access to other towns in the area. Distinct lack of tourist information. Ok if you like to use a display board; pamphlet available seems to be all about wineries, and food. The library does have some info but not a lot. Sanctuary is great, wear comfortable shoes, plan for a weekend when more shops are open, Wednesday and Thursday not great!.

Great little village with fantastic hiking/walking tracks, natural attractions, short distance to many other amazing towns and experiences, still clos enough to Melbourne to not be a trek!
There literally is something for everyone.

One of the larger townships in the Yarra Valley.
One of the larger townships in the Yarra Valley. A great spot to base your travels from - so quick and close to places like Warburton and Yarra Glen. Some of the tourist information specific to Healesville are a bit outdated (like viewing points that are now overgrown with trees so now there's no view to be had), so just check things before you head out to them.
The Thai resataurant in Healesville was lovely and great value for money. We can also highly recommend the Dark Horse Cafe just out of Yarra Glen - lovely warm hospitality to be had there with very filling and delicious food.

Great place to stay!
Great place to stay! We had such a good time and the cafes and shops were all very friendly. The food was fantastic with so many options. Lots to do around Healesville itself. Highly recommend Marooondah Reservoir for a picnic, walk and explore.

Excellent position close to shops , cafes etc. a cosie cottage that fitted 8 adults. It wasn’t a spacious place but was well equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was a chopping board .

We wanted to explore the Yarra Valley and sample some local wine and food, so that is what we did. We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly local welcome, and all the independent shops, wineries and cafes. I would recommend 2N3D to fully engage. If you are flying as we were early Sunday morning, it's around 1hr 10m to Tullamarine, so within easy striking distance by car. In sum - it's a small compact village, great little cinema, interesting art galleries, a wealth of fab local wine and food, and a wildlife sanctuary as well.
Wow, what a spacious and beautiful home to stay in. Our large family was able to enjoy the huge home comfortably without getting in each other’s space. The garden is pristine and added to the viewing enjoyment. Lucy was a super star, her communication was attentive and was willing to answer the phone and help us out with ease. We will definitely return and highly recommend Serenity to anyone wanting to stay in Healesville. Thanks Lucy for everything you did for us.
It was clean and seemed like it was well taken care of. Beds were comfortable. Place was spacious. It has everything you need, there were even brochures of restaurants and places you can go to. Location was good. Ambiance of the cottage was really homey and relaxing. Most of all, Ralph (I think he is the owner) was really accommodating and nice. He even offered a free upgrade. Will definitely stay at this place again if we were to come back to Healesville.
The tranquility of the property and the warm owners, Louise and Greg who treated us like their own family members, made the stay a unique experience. The 3-bedroom cottage we stayed in is spacious and well-furnished. Stepping out of the property, the copacetic landscape is eye-catching that makes you unite with the nature. Greg offered top wine selection tips that made the wine tasting tour a fruitful one.
On arrival the cabin was fairly clean and tidy, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was a good size. It was such a beautiful and quiet place to stay at and the size of the cabin was good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and when we left. Also the location of this place was perfect as the main street of Healesville was just down the road and was a 5 minute drive to Healesville Sanctuary.
The beds were so comfortable, great location and very clean. The lounge room was set out brillantly to sit back and enjoy a movie. Nice touch having a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. Kitchen had everything you needed. Overall we loved Femboy Cottage, it was like a home away from home. Definitely would recommend it as a wonderful place to stay while in Healesville and surrounding area.🙂
Checking in and out was very easy. The staff member who welcomed us was very friendly. We stayed in the family room - very quiet and spacious. Air conditioning and wifi worked very well. Bed in main room was comfy. Location short drive to central Healesville, but super close to the Sanctuary if that is your main destination. Nice and clean, and bathroom well stocked.
Magnolia House was a perfect place to stay in Healsville, close to town... easy walk to restaurants, supermarket.... cozy ,comfortable, clean, safe ,everything you needed was there...can't think of anything you would need that wasn't available... owners only a tex message away, so friendly and helpful ... would and will recommend to friends & family
A private, spacious, well equipped cottage at the rear of a very large compound. We loved the peaceful outlook and the extensive garden area, complete with friendly chooks. A 15 minute walk down the hill to the main shops. A perfect base from which to explore Healesville and the region. Easy check-in arrangements, great communication from host.
Badger house itself is beautifully designed and decorated. The house is very impressive and great for entertaining guests. Everything you would need is in this house, making it feel like a home away from home. The location itself is easy to get to Healesville town (just under 5 minutes). Really loved the layout! Wish this was my home!!
Mike and Jen are so very welcoming. You are treated like family. You can mingle or stay private. But honestly its like staying with family. Beautful spot, really lovley home, quite. Bed was so comfortable. It was the break we really needed.
It was spacious and very comfortable and suited our needs in the main. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, with the added bonus of being able to watch the wildlife from the comfort of the family room.
The location is perfect, quiet, my kid loves to see rabbits and kangaroos. Offering breakfast it is a bonus, so we were ready to go have a good time after breakfast in a family in this cosy cottage.
Ralph was very helpful in getting us booked in. We were in Cottage 3 and it was in perfect condition. Very roomy and comfortable. The back deck area was nice to sit in at the end of the day.
