This has got to be one of the best accommodation offers that you have on your system. The owners Sandy and Cathy go that extra mile for you and then go that little bit further.
The house is amazing, paintings, antique furniture, everything is thought of down to the last detail. Sheets and towels you will wish were your own! Breakfast is taken in the dining room around a large table that sat eight of us, the mix and conversation that it brought out was first class. Breakfast was served by Sandy in his kilt, you can't get more Scotsman Inn than that. Croissants were made to order by Cathy. Can't get fresher than that.

We stayed for one night and arrived late but we were welcomed and we could visit the other bedrooms to chose the best for us. They asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast. They made recommendations for the restaurants.

I love Pictou!
I love Pictou! There are great places to eat, a marvellous place on Front Street to buy pottery and other beautiful things. Love to walk along the trail by the harbour (pictures of two herons on Wednesday)and explore the small business and chat with the VERY friendly people. You get to feel at home in Pictou very quickly.

Beautiful town; I had a delightful sunrise yoga/prayer session by the ocean side and met some locals as well. How fantastic of a place. I truly hope you take time to stay here. It is close to Cape Breton Island and a ferry away from PEI. A gem of a place. I will be back, hopefully.

Pictou is a beautiful little town with some nice historic sites, waterfront dining and some cool little shops. Unfortunately it seems that many Food & beverage places have closed permanently over the past couple of years, perhaps due to the closure of the Pulp & Paper Mill and/or the pandemic. But the huge plus is that the air no longer carries a toxic odour.

Pictou is a picturesque town with friendly people.
Pictou is a picturesque town with friendly people. Great beaches nearby and wonderful ocean views. Only place I have ever been where a juvenile Bald Eagle, sitting on a post, was comfortable enough to let us and others get close for a photo op....pretty amazing.....
Great property and area of Nova Scotia for exploring. Pool, kayaks/canoes, beach, giant checkers etc kept our kids busy. Rooms are great with your own entrance with a small porch, very quiet in the rooms. On-site restaurant was delicious for a few meals and the town of Pictou was extremely close for more on-the-go meals and groceries. The views from the property are exceptional. We brought our 5-month old puppy and he loved the location too! Our kids loved their stay and are already asking when we can come back!
We loved staying at this historic home in Pictou! Our hosts were very attentive and charming! We loved a bountiful breakfast served in a very quaint front room. We also enjoyed the parlor for socializing and resting. The home is so close to the Hector Heritage Quay (museum), the waterfront, some excellent restaurants and a lively entertainment tent (set up for the summer tourist season). Highly recommend!
Very best accomodation we had throughout our trip through Kanada! Very nice people, the room and the whole house was furnished with dear. We checked in late and still received a warm welcome. The breakfast was amazing! Even after check out we were borrowed an umbrella to visit the museum in Pictou.
It was the cheapest with decent reviews for Pictou and they let us check in an hour early. Also the room especially the updated bathroom seemed very clean. TV was good and the bed was very comfortable. It had a microwave and a mini fridge in the room and a nice little closet with hangers.
very cozy building. Lots of attention to detail in the decoration, to little items in the washroom like a loofa, mouthwash, shampoo, and body wash. The common area was very cozy and comfortable with reading material, information about the area
The suite was bright, very spacious and well appointed. It had a nice balcony with an ocean view, plus a full kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas with a large screen TV and a great view. Good wifi, lots of large windows and comfy beds.
Everything about Seabank House was wonderful. The owners are delightful and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Great location in Pictou . The room was utterly amazing with a really comfortable bed . Guaranteed to have a great night's sleep . Breakfast was excellent with as much coffee as you wanted . A fantastic night's stay .
The location was beautiful. I really enjoyed the heritage building. Linda was also a very pleasant host. I would recommend Braeside for anyone who is looking to relax and enjoy Pictou!
The owners were fantastic, beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Would stay again and would definitely recommend Willow House Inn to friends and family.
Beautiful people who own and host this hotel which is as full of warmth and character as they are. Great location and value. A quality experience with quality people.
Very quaint, clean, private and accommodating. The owner is very friendly! Nice location with wonderful restaurants and views in the area. Everything you will need.
The owners are very nice and gave us some great pointers for where to eat etc. Brenda even made a reservation for us at the Pictou Lodge which was fantastic.
Location great. Walking distance to restaurants. It was Pictous 150 th anniversary so there were music and shops close by. All within walking distance.
