We like the visit of the old part of the town visiting Abbaye the St. Gall , the historical buildings. Visit to the textile musuem was interesting. We wish more restaurants were open on a Sunday night.

Very beautiful medieval town.
Very beautiful medieval town. One of the five most impressive and libraries in the world. The city has plenty of activities to choose from. Abby’s library was the best visit ever. I’ve learned a lot (explanations were interesting and not too many info) and it is beautiful. Interior of the cathedral is unusually bright. Strolling through the old town was beautiful experience.

One assigned parking spot, directly out front. Very walkable to shops (groceries, restaurants), less than ten minutes' walk to the city center, cathedral, and library. Includes an entryway kitchenette with dishes and fridge, private bath, and two large rooms, each with a full sized bed. Nice cross breeze for summer. Very fast internet access. The check-in instructions were easy and precise, Mrs. Joppich was reactive and helpful. The accomodation is clean, nice and has all that you need for you stay: I've never seen so many amenities in a room that it's not a hotel. I felt spoilt and really welcomed. I highly recommend the place and if I ever come back to St. Gallen, I'd definitely book the place again!

We didn't know initially what to expect as there were no reviews yet (the hotel opened on July 14), but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and affordable price. The hotel also has a finished sauna that all guests can use, and soon there will be a Japanese style hot tub!

The property is ideally located between the Abbey and the Einstein conference centre , both just a minute walking.
