This is a wonderful place; we never ventured outside of the old town - why would you. Yes there are tourist traps a plenty for the cruise ships etc but with a little thought one can easily find very authentic traditional places to eat and drink with wonderful friendly staff. The Roman theatre is a MUST see.

Second trip to Cadiz.
Second trip to Cadiz. I liked it even better the second time. It's a lovely city to just wander in. Just enough attractions to keep one busy but not enough that you are exhausted trying to see everything. Parks are lovely, harbour is a great area to walk in, and the city streets are fascinating. Great food everywhere we went.

The bathroom has an amazing shower and the facility is extremely comfortable and nice. It is like a chic airbnb inside a beautiful building. There might be a little bit of noise from the street, but once you close the window you can't hear anything. I loved the fact that we could enter the building and the room with a password, avoiding the whole check in/key situation. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Cadiz.

It is about a 25 min flat walk from the bus station or a rather pricey short taxi (no Uber). It was a very large comfortable three bedroom apartment and I was a solo traveler, but managed to get a good deal so it was nice to have space for a couple days. Internet worked well for remote work. Building was safe and check in instructions easy. The neighborhood is safe and easy to finding eating and shopping options nearby.
