We loved everything about our stay at La Bastide. There are outstanding views, big rooms, nice decor, and very helpful and attentive staff. Amazing breakfast with a big selection of different dishes. One of the best hotels we ever stayed at. We are already planning our next visit to La Bastide. Definitely recommend that place.

This was a roomy B&B that is more like a one-bedroom apartment. Large living room with dining area and kitchen. Separate bedroom and bathroom. There was also a patio outside with a barbecue grill, tables and chairs, etc. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Valerie was a pleasant host and we managed to communicate sufficiently well with my poor French. There was plenty of off-street parking space. I didn't get an opportunity to use it, but the large pool looks very inviting.

If you're planning on driving here with a rental car please be aware that it is extremely busy and the roads are incredibly narrow. My experienced driver was uncomfortable with parallel parking next to a precipitous drop The view that you often see in photos from the lookout near the village is beautiful but what you don't see are the lines of other people waiting to get the same shot. In short, it's incredibly touristy which does take away from the quaint ambiance I was looking for. We also visited Fontaine de Vancleur and found that village to be more manageable in terms of crowds, parking, and driving.

Gordes is a magical town, it's all walkable and you'll have plenty of choice for restaurants, be careful not to set out for dinner too late though as places seem to close quite early.
We had a fantastic meal at La Trinquette which I highly recommend. There's also a lively outdoor bar/restaurant opposite with a view!
If you're staying in the area and have access to a car, make sure you check out Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque for it's beautiful exterior lined with Lavender (no need to get sucked in to the hour tour), also be sure to visit Le Sentier des Ocres, Roussillon is a stunning town and the orange Quarry is definitely something not to miss!
Parking can be quite tricky in the very heart but it's a small town and two mins up the road is a massive car park.

Gordes is a beautiful medieval village with lovely shops and restaurants and stunning views. It has a wonderful market every Tuesday morning. However it can get hectically busy during the day as it is phenomenally popular with tourists. It’s best to visit it early, around 10 am, and even at 9am on market day. Limited parking if one is not staying within walking distance nearby

Gordes is a beautiful town with amazing views, some nice shops, several good restaurants, lovely village market on Tuesday mornings.
Stayed on the hill leading up to Gordes, about a 10 minute walk from the city. Perfect location - got some exercise walking up every day, but had enjoyed the space and quiet of being outside the village
Ate at several restaurants in Gordes. Most enjoyed our meals at L'Outsider and Le Garden.
We visited early June. The village had lot's of tourists but wasn't too busy overall. Expect it would be much more crowded in July and August

Gordes has quite a lot of history which is very informative and interesting.. However in the actual village itself there is not a lot to offer. La ville sous la ville is very interesting.
The surrounding villages of Gordes are perhaps more interesting with markets and local cuisine. Lourmarin is definitely worth a visit.

We stayed in Gordes for three nights.
We stayed in Gordes for three nights. Three full days would have been fine but we lost a day going back to Aix en Provence for a private cooking class.
The Luberon area is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed visiting many villages. Would highly recommend. Must have rental car.
The Bastidon is located in a private community within the beautiful town of Gordes. It is only a short walk to the town center where there are many restaurant options and beautiful panoramic views across the valley. The private community has lovely gardens, a pool, table tennis, and other amenities. Denis is a wonderful host and gave us a lot of excellent recommendations about the area. We hope to come back again!
The hosts, accommodations, and breakfast were superb! Although we had an itinerary, our knowledgeable hosts assisted us in perfecting it. They were helpful with restaurant reservations and simply great hosts. I will never forget this part of our France trip. Breakfasts in the courtyard were delicious and far exceeded our expectations. What a gem!
Amazing place to stay - very authentic village house. The kitchen is well-equipped, you'll find anything you need. A nice private garden is available - an incompetable place to have your breakfast. The hosts are awesome hospitale people and would do their best to help you. Would gladly get back once I decide to visit Provence again.
So rarely do you find a place that manages to exceed all expectations but La Borie does! The property is simply stunning with comfortable well stocked rooms, a beautiful patio to eat a delicious breakfast on and a sunny heated pool area. To top it all off the centre of Gordes is just a 10 min stroll away. We can't wait to come back!
This property is magical! Centrally located to explore Provence and less than 5 minutes from Gordes, it feels
like your own private oasis. A gorgeous garden, beautiful pool, stunningly decorated house. The room was large, well decorated and very clean. The staff were so accommodating and the breakfast was wonderful.
Set among beautiful olive groves and rolling hills, it was truly a spectacular stay. Honestly, the best place we stayed for our two weeks in France. Natalie and Michel were amazing hosts and were extremely nice and helpful! Wonderful breakfast every morning. Would highly recommend and would definitely return!
A delicious breakfast served outside your private gite. The garden had so many little areas to relax and was so secluded that you felt as though you had the whole place to yourself. The hosts were incredibly friendly and happy to help. Gordes was a very short walk away and the views from this hotel were great.
The hosts were kind, informative and always ready to help. Thank you for everything guys - we did not manage to outrun tour du France, but great experience :)
The house is very stylish with great garden where the breakfast is served. We loved the small details and colors all around the place.
We’ve had a wonderful 5 day vacation in Gordes visiting for a wedding .
The hotel was beautiful, clean, wonderful views, staff so kind friendly and attentive.
We will happily return to Gordes area and stay at this hotel and be delighted to recommend to everyone. 😀
Place is really nice, located very close to Gordes and other Luberon beautiful villages. The host is soo kind! She showed us where to go and what to see! Breakfast one of the best during our two weeks trips in France! We will be back during the summertime for sure!
Very well managed, spacious accommodation very close to the historical centre of Gordes. The bungalows (“Bastidons” following local language and tradition) are set in a well-tended, gated and walled complex, with parking and swimming pool, trees and terraces.
A beautiful high end boutique hotel
Incredible helpful friendly staff
Great pool, country setting
Breakfast patio with views of Provence
It is an uphill walk into Gordes but well worth it for the views especially after dinner on the walk back
Everything you need and a very relaxing place close to Gordes. A lot of bike and walking tracks can be reached from house or after short drive. We had a really good stay.
Absolutely beautiful property with gorgeous views. Close to Gordes with wonderful restaurants and views. Excellent breakfast and a peaceful, calming environment.
