The new operators were helpful and friendly. Parking needs to be communicated up front, but they accommodated us well. Breakfast was very good with a variety of options. They was into town was very easy.

Staff is the friendliest we have found in any hotel in France and probably it is because of their commitment that this hotel is still up and running with style. Great to have free parking and swimming pool in this location. very spacious rooms with a terrace to sit outside

Vence is under-rated when compared to its more illustrious neighbours Tourette’s and St Paul de Vence. But it is just as pretty and more interesting in what it offers. The main church is really interesting with its museum upstairs. Good choice of restaurants but book in advance as they get busy!

Vence is the most fabulous town.
Vence is the most fabulous town. It’s close proximity to Nice and the beach is a great advantage too. It has a brilliant selection of excellent restaurants of high standard. The overall character of the old town is spectacular. I cannot wait to revisit this amazing town.

There are many charming villages within an hour's drive of Nice. We have stayed in half a dozen of them. Vence is unpretentious, full of character and a place to return to. While it attracts tourists, real people live here and the quality of life is exemplary.

Vence very pretty Hill top town , in winter few tourists which is fine , but also many places closed . Restaurants which were open had few patrons ( we were only 2 in one place, Les Agapes which had good food ). 2 days is plenty.
Just beautiful! One of our favorite stays during our trip! Charming and modern touches throughout, including the awesome sunny patio. The apartment has everything you need for a short to long stay. We wish we had stayed longer than one evening, as Vence itself is a vibrant and charming town. Friendly people and a very nice old town area that is about a 10-15 minute walk away from the apartment. The evening views (and morning for that matter!) are so breathtakingly beautiful. So peaceful and quiet. We were charmed! :)
Great location, especially the footpath to the old town straight from the car park, only 280 metres.
The free underground parking is a huge bonus !
Most of all the staff. Like all the reviews on here say, the staff are all exceptionally polite and helpful - very old school- which is a refreshing change!
Toiletries in the bathroom and everything is very very clean. Oh and an amazing deep swimming pool, again very well kept and clean and considering this is the middle of August, the whole hotel was sooo quiet.
7 min walk from the Vence main
bus station. This small hotel is build next to the beautiful panoramic view terrace. Three of us stayed and booked two rooms since they did not have a triple room. The room is simple and old but they kept it clean and comfortable. Also we got a room with the beautiful view. The dinner was tasty and wonderful. They took care of us well. We highly recommend this small but pleasant Auberge in Vence

The hotel is a classic style French villa hotel, with refurbished modern bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent and could be enjoyed in the garden, for a sunny and relaxing start to the day. The hotel was in close walking distance to the town centre to enjoy the bars and restaurants there in the evening. So it was a great location.
The location is perfect, walking distance to the beautiful village of Vence. Very nice view from the terrace, as well as from the balcony room.
The hotel is a little bit old but in a good shape. Therefore it has French charme. Good position for daily trip along the Cote Azur. Parking slots for free in front of the hotel.
Staff is the friendliest we have found in any hotel in France and probably it is because of their commitment that this hotel is still up and running with style. Great to have free parking and swimming pool in this location. very spacious rooms with a terrace to sit outside
Loved everything about it, even though our room (the cheapest) was small. The hotel and surroundings are
GORGEOUS, the food was good and the staff was exceptional: friendly, efficient and helpful. Can't say
enough good things about it. Hope to return.
The Hotel is very charmant, the panoramic view is amazing, the ospitality remarkable and the location very convenient. The kindness of the owner is exeptional, we were even upgraded to a better and larger room. Hopefully we will come back!
Nice calm rustic place with good view. Place had everything you need for family stay. All locations like Cannes and Nice are short drive away. Vence itself is beautiful small town well worth visiting and is walking distance away.
Everything very clean. For south of France a very good parking garage, even for bigger cars. Rooms very nice with comfortable beds and complete Kitchenette. Swimming pool had a nice temperature and was kept clean.
Everything in the hotel is unified with antiques and a sense of history. You can see the old town and mountains from the room. Dinner was the best deliciousness during my trip to France.
Great welcome, room had it's own outdoor space, the pool etc but actually we loved being able to walk into St Paul de Vence in 20 mins without touching a road!
This hotel is perfectly located for access to restaurants, sights, and buses. The breakfast served the best croissants I had in a month in Italy and France.
