The location is great. I felt very safe! The room was clean, fresh and quiet. Breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a lot of choice. I went over to the lovely seaside town of Seaham which wasn't very far away. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were very pleasant and interested in me and my vacation.

    the welcome was into a lovely old pub full of atmosphere with Kaitlin behind the bar who made us feel welcome immediately. lovely room with everything we needed to be comfortable. Breakfast was a pre order and the best but was we had our names on the form as individuals and they were used to good effect at the great breakfast when we were greeted by name as we entered the dining room. rooms were immaculately clean. having stayed in lots of high value hotels covered in dust and smeared glass this was truly in a different class. **********

    The breakfast was very good. The room was a bit smaller that we are used to. There was somewhere to sit but it was not a place that was suitable for drying my hair and putting on make-up as the only mirror was not nearby. Anyway, we managed okay. Staff were very accommodating. We hadn't eaten that afternoon but we were told we could have a take-away in the bar. Therefore, a few doors down from the hotel we got a really lovely Chinese Take-Away.

    Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this guest house. I was warmly welcomed and shown around. Options at breakfast were excellent. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Clearly guests are treated very well, and supported in their stay. I would add that I potentially lost an item at the hotel, and the staff helped me a great deal, they let me back int he room and I was pakced off with a coffee for a long jounrey.

    The White House is in a lovely location with nice views and ample parking. The hotel was very modern and beautifully decorated throughout. Our room was spacious with a large en-suite and a fantastic powerful shower! Very large comfy bed with quiet surroundings we had 2 peaceful nights sleep. Large selection of breakfast items, freshly cooked to order.

    The staff who run the hotel were really polite and friendly. Gave us loads of information about transport to and from stadium of light and all round really kind. We travelled as two young girls to see Beyonce and the women who ran the B&B made us feel so comfortable and they were really chatty. Breakfast was lovely, so happy with our stay :)

    Excellent breakfast, good choices available. The hotel room was comfortable and had everything needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to enable us to visit Seaham, Welfare Park, the Royal Navy Museum and Heugh Battery Museum at the Headland.

    Breakfast was lovely. All freshly cooked by the owner. The room we had was the courtyard studio - situated on its own in the hotels beer garden. The room was very modern, clean, had everything we needed. The TV was the biggest I’ve seen in a hotel room.
