Simon and Marie were super welcoming. We had troubles on the road, so we were a bit late with the checking-in, but they were super understanding and welcomed us warmly. The room was clean and had all the utilities, comfy bed and super nice bathroom. Best of all, the Scottish breakfast!

Awesome stay and will definitely book here again! Thank you for all your hospitality Lynne, as well as the home- baked blueberry muffins. The breakfast is more than enough and the black pudding the best we have had on our trip. 10 out of 10!

Didn’t have breakfast- we had the apartment with its own kitchen which was well fitted out. The location was excellent as we wanted to climb Ben Nevis which was only 8 miles away and it’s a good staring place for many other trips, Glenfinnan, Malaig, as well as being on the rail route from Glasgow to Malaig

We didn't really visit Spean Bridge since we wanted to see Glenfinnan, hike around the lochs and go to the beach at Mallaig. But it seemed nice and quiet. And Spean Lodge was a piece of heaven so we didn't really want to leave when we were back :)

Spean Bridge is a pretty little place with some stunning walks and scenery. The shop has everything you need for your stay and there is also a Post office. There wasn't a huge selection of places to eat or drink and some were closed when we were there but it was probably just the time of year and we ventured into Fort William which has plenty of choice to eat and drink.

Beautiful Small Village tucked away from the Hussle and bustle. Quite and Peaceful area. Mai Bus root to Fort William and surrounding area's. Locals are so helpful and supportive, specially, i was waiting for a bus to turn up for a while when a beautiful lady turned up and asked me if i was okay as she had noticed me being waiting at bus stop quite a while.

It's a good place to explore the area.

It's a good place to explore the area. Spean Bridge itself is tiny, but has one excellent restaurant at the Old Station. There are some other places but they are only open until 4 or 5, so I did not visit those. For additional options, you'd have to take a 15-minute drive to the next town over (Fort William). My hotel - Highland Bridge Hotel - has a pub attached that was frequented every night by the locals. So there is a place to hang out if you must. Overall a good location to explore the Scottish countryside. Considering everywhere you have to go will take you an hour, it isn't so bad you're basically 15 minutes out of town.

We felt safe and secure in our accommodation.

We felt safe and secure in our accommodation. Felt intimidated by locals who got angry with us for not breaking the speed restrictions and we were not alone that felt this! Not much to do in the actual village itself but is a good base to venture out, the b and b we stayed in though was a pleasure to come home to - Braelea, run by Margaret. A fabulous lady with knowledge for days out. We are in restaurants recommended by Margaret.

Rosebank is owned by wonderful lady by the name of Teresa, who reminds you of your favourite aunt whom you rarely see but welcomes you with open arms. She made us feel like we'd been there before, set a lovely table with lots of breakfast options, keeps an immaculate house with very comfortable accommodations and genuinely made us feel like we were home. I would HIGHLY recommend Rosebank to anyone staying near Ft. William or Spean Bridge. I wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be booking with here for our next trip

Breakfast was excellent, high quality, well presented. Accommodation was clean and spotless, good beds and lovely showers. Plenty of Parking. House owners were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Showed initiative in offering help without us having to ask. Stunning views from the living room and picnic area. Close to Fort William for facilities, walking, tours and take-aways. Warm and friendly atmosphere. The house was very warm, and this was welcoming when we were all soaked to the skin with the wonderful weather.

Great location a little bit outside of Spean Bridge - the Station Pub was only a 15 minute walk away. Large comfortable rooms and lovely shower. Wonderful Lounge and Open Fire. Breakfast served in the room which due to Covid Restrictions. Breakfast baskets were full to the brim - no shortage there! Tea and Coffee facilities in the room were Nescafe standard and we were directed to where we could get more. Considering Covid restrictions, I just can't see how they could have done more. Great effort in the circumstances.

The owners, Dani and Cameron were so kind and welcoming and full of great information of things to do in their area and restaurants to go to. Appreciated the heads up regarding reserving restaurants in advance for dinner. The breakfasts were superb, one morning was the pancakes with berries, and the next morning was a Scottish breakfast. Nice to have a living room to relax in in the evening and meet and chat with the other guests. We loved our time there, and would definitely return.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly they even preheated the radiator in our room prior to our arrival. The room was as excepted and included condiments. The breakfast menu had a few different options to choose from and extra fruit and yoghurts & refill tea and coffee which were kept topped up whilst we sat for food. Great location if you want to explore, climb or just sightsee. Overall a great hotel and experience for the money spent. Thank you both!

The location is a 15 minute drive to Fort William Bridge (Glenfinnan Viaduct). The room or suite is in a "chalet", which is spacious, comfortable and clean. The accommodation has free parking right in front of the chalet. Sometimes you can hear noise from other chalets. Breakfast also has a vegetarian and vegan option (coffee, butter, toast, crossaint, cheese, eggs, yogurt, different types of muesli, jams and other sweets). The staff is very friendly.

We dont generally stay in B+B's but the welcome and space in this huge house in Spean bridge made it feel like home. We were even picked up from the trail by the owner saving us a three mile walk or waiting hours for a bus. We also got a lift to a restaurant for dinner ! A huge quiet room very comfortable bed, everything you needed in there and a wonderful breakfast. Friendly hosts, everything you could want for a good price.

10/10 for the host. Karin was amazing; friendly, nice, and chatty. Room is small but has everything it needs. A nice benefit is the pub in the same building with reasonably priced drinks; here you can watch sports with the locals and it's quite busy on Friday night, but I didn't hear any of it after going to bed. Hotel in a very quiet location. Dinner may be served upon request.

Great location for anyone visiting Spean Bridge or the Killiechonate estate. Recently renovated to a very high standard with 3 comfortable bedrooms, well fitted out kitchen and a welcoming sitting room with log burner and an endless supply of wood. Also a washing machine, dryer and drying room for when you get wet on the hill..... Highly recommended.

The location is excellent, with easy access to Fort William and other major attractions! Lovely garden with hot tub (it's a pity we don't have the time for it), also love the mini bar with wide range of local beer options. The breakfast was next level! Dani and Cameron were very friendly hosts with great recommendations for the local area!

The host was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. While we prefer a kitchen, it was easy to prepare the breakfast and evening meal with a microwave. The food selection for the provided breakfast was simple and ample. Clunebeg May seem remote, but it is convenient to Fort William and the train to Mallaig.

We were hiking the GGW and arrived cold and soaked through. Our room was clean, warm and cozy, shower was hot. There were 5 of us and they found a room that would accommodate all of us which was great. Dinner at the hotel was really good. We slept great and we’re very happy with the accomodations.
