Well....... One of the owners greeted us, friendly. Our room was on the top floor, and quite small for two adults.
Room was clean , bed was very uncomfortable, could feel bed springs, left with back hurting after two nights.bathroom door creaked very loud so you could hear other occupant using toilet. Bathroom had cool modern mirror, shower was tiny.
Outside of building needed refurbishment, at least some paint.
Breakfast was ok. Ordered "full english' sausage was undercooked and slightly raw in the middle. Asked for scrambled eggs and got one fried egg instead. Yogurt was gone off and warm. Not much offering for "continental side. They did offer fresh fruit bowl, but didnt see any fruit out. one toaster and a bit of a competition to use it.
Jam packets seemed old. Brewed coffee was ok, but could have been hotter.
Just the two owners running everything , so understandable to be a bit overwhelmed. I would say invest in some comfortable mattresses, and maybe hire a breakfast cook if possible. It was not horrible, and location was near the Castle.
Walking distance to pub, store, and restuarant. 204 pounds for two nights so not super pricey.

Tintagel is a lovely village it has some real quaint shops and the castle beach is well worth a visit although found the entry fee to the castle a bit steep so we didn’t do that the tide was out for a visit to Merlin’s cave but be prepared for steep steps 😂 the pasty shop was lovely too and all the tea shops etc looked amazing happy travels 🥰🥰

I am trying to review Fisherman’s cottage-which was great except that it didn’t state anywhere in it that it was a studio flat. It said it had one bedroom but there is no door to separate it from the rest of the cottage so u are essentially sleeping in the same room as a fridge & freezer gurgling all night -and if u have a dog u have to sleep in the same room as it unless u shut it in the bathroom. I just thought that it was important to make this point somewhere as nowhere seemed to let me review the cottage properly- just gave me a set of tick box questions. As I said it is a lovely cottage unless u mind sleeping with ur dog and a fridge and freezer in the same room-which I did! As for Tintagel-been coming here for years and is as lovely as ever!
The food was amazing, breakfast was far larger than I expected. The rooms were really lovely, the building is from the 1350's but the rooms have been modernised really well (loads of sockets!) while keeping the historic aesthetic. It may be one of the nicest old buildings I've stayed in, very comfortable and warm.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful too, great service. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Tintagel.
We enjoyed our stay in Copthorne, a cosy and clean bungalow cottage which is located near to the shops, pubs, cafes, bakeries, Tintagel castle and the stunning Cornish coastline. The location of the cottage is quiet and peaceful. It is well - equipped and lovely Maggie, the owner, is only a call away if needed. It is also a great base to explore the rest of Cornwall. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was lovely - fully cooked with lots of choice! Service from the staff was great throughout - they were very attentive and friendly. Parking was very convenient and spacious and we were kindly allowed to leave our car in the car park during the day while we went for a hike to Boscastle. Location is pretty much the most central place you could be in Tintagel for a tourist.
Laid back place for those looking to chill and have experiences with similar minded people. The owner is an absolute pleasure to talk to. Beach hostel but really serious about cleaning and common sense rules. Excellent location near Tintagel Castle. No frills but filling breakfast (all kinds of cereals). The place in North Cornwall. Rooms not overcrowded with beds as some hostels.
Our room was in the annex of the building, a large room with excellent facilities. Comfortable bed, large shower with toiletries provided. Room had good heating. Breakfast was included in our price and served in the hotel, with a choice of continental and cooked option. Free car parking provided in local car park, with guest parking ticket. Easy walking to Tintagel castle.
The room was very clean and comfortable with a sea view looking out towards the Castle Hotel on the Headland at Tintagel. Breakfast was more than adequate with juice, tea or coffee, choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit and continental style variations. Cooked breakfast, omelette or eggs benedict/royale followed by tea and jam/marmalade. It was very good.
The apartment is perfect for a group of up to 6 people. It has everything you need to make it a home from home. The owner also runs the giftshop downstairs so was on hand for any queries. Located on the main street, there's easy access down to Tintagel Castle and lots of options for food and drink. Would definitely come back here again.
We loved our stay at Tintagel Arms Hotel, all staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was exceptionally good and the room although small was perfect for us ❤ will happily stay there again not just because it was good value but the best experience overall. Thank you to Dawn and the rest of the staff at Tintagel Arms Hotel x
breakfast was cooked to order from an extensive basic fry up menu the night before and was therefor hot and brought to you. The location was why we booked here ( very close to Tintagel Castle ) and a free car park. ( Tintagel has a few large car parks but they are VERY busy & full all the time ).
A great place for a family stay. We played a few games and the tables were ideal. The Netflix & Wifi was great. The clock on the wall was a nice touch as it is not often we have one provided. If we come to Tintagel again we would love to stay here.
I nice place to stay, close to Tintagel castle and surrounds. Staff were very nice, food was great! Good off street car parking facilities. Good service and a recommended place to stay if you are in the area.
We had a wonderful time at Tintagel Arms b&b. Everything was perfect!

2. Location, Amazing
3. Breakfast, delicious
4. Prices, great

Excellent location and accommodation for Tintagel and exploring the Southwest Coastal Path. Outstanding breakfast to fuel hungry hikers. Be sure to visit the pasty shops in town for a lunch time treat.
It is small hotel with very friendly hosts, delicious fresh breakfast, nice equipment for a short stay. Easy access to Tintagel Castle (run by
English Heritage) and beautiful nature area nearby
