Roads and sidewalks should be repaired throughout Corfu. In many places, there are no sidewalks at all, it is quite dusty and there are a lot of unkempt green areas. The city of Corfu is well worth a visit, a lot of history, the old town is beautiful. We expected more real Greek music and customs in cafes and restaurants.

The road is busy and noisy, we were lucky to choose a hotel...
The road is busy and noisy, we were lucky to choose a hotel away from it. The restaurants and bars benefit from being away from the road too. The buses are very good into Corfu town which is stunning and where to get your culture fix. Tourism has well and truly taken over the rest of the island which is a bit of a shame. Disappointing that there was little wildlife although watching the swallows and swifts was a joy.

Unfortunately, the Dassia resort is not clean, because there are no trash cans at the bus station and the local authorities are not doing their job. A small place but everything you need to enjoy a beach...
A small place but everything you need to enjoy a beach holiday and a great bus service to travel the island .Only downside was the best parts of the beach were monopolised by 2 huge all inclusive hotels . There are other parts of the beach to use but not soo pretty .

Location on the main street was convenient for shops, restaurants and buses (easy to get to Corfu town and beaches around the island). Dassia beach is a short walk. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. The pool area is enjoyable and the gardens are kept beautifully making this hotel feel like a green oasis out the back. Spa massages very nice. Breakfast food and staff (led by Aris) were great. Gluten free options available on request.SineadIreland

Walkable distance to two beautiful beaches. The landlord is so nice and warm-hearted, a really cool guy. When he heard that we got sun burned, he was so worried and went directly to the pharmacy to get us some creams. I’ve never seen anyone who is so sweet. Also the breakfast was different every day and they were amazing! I high recommend staying at this place!

There is an outdoor pool and a pool bar to have some snacks or drinks, and there are tons of taverns , markets and a few restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The beach is also nearby, within 10 minutes on foot. It is not the best beach in the world, but if you go at the beach bar Malibu you will have a great time. We also enjoyed conversations with her at evenings and of course company of her cat Romeo. She welcomed us with some snacks and wine and baked some kind of pie another day. So it was amazing experiance for us and we recommend everyone to come to Dassia and stay at Braziliana apartments. 😊

Everything was lovely and we’d definitely stay again if visiting Corfu. A car is definitely needed for this location, but we always have a car because we can choose a quiet location such as this. The owner and maid were very friendly and informative..nothing was too much trouble.
