The proprietress was simply wonderful, She was very communicative and had lovely treats for our arrival. She had lovely art pieces of her own throughout the apartment. We later found her art exhibited in a local museum. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Arad itself is nothing special, but it’s a fine town with all the necessary resources (groceries, gas, restaurants, etc.). Location is its strength. An hour or less by car to Ein Gedi, the Dead Sea, S’dom, Beit Guvrin, Mamshit, and many more historical and natural wonders. Make it your jumping off point to enjoy the northern Negev.

A small town with a great connection to Jerusalem and Mesada. Even on Sabbath you find a nice bar and Supermarkets open in walking distance from our accomodation. Its great for a short stay to visit Mesada (we went to west-side entrance) and to take a day trip to Dead Sea. From Arad you can either go back north or continue to south.. however, after two nights you find that Arad itself doesnt offer much more to discover..

Arad is 30 minutes from the DEAD SEA Beach and a lot of Israeli national hiking routes. (Massada, Nahal Arugot, NAhal of King David) . The prices at Arad about 1/4 of the DEAD SEA area. So just rent a car. :)

We had a lovely stay at Bashiri's place! Very friendly and hospitable host who made us feel most welcome immediately. Do rely on the pizza recommendation :)
Enjoyed the jacuzzi at night after a long tour in the desert - most delightful!
We will come back & stay for longer!!

Clean very pleasant town.
Clean very pleasant town. Balanced, not too busy but not too quiet. Plenty shops, malls eateries etc. Absolutely beautiful walks and viewpoints basically in the town. Would very highly recommend for a young family looking to hike a bit and chill.
We came for 1 night after a night partying in the desert. The host Dana was amazing, did everything to ensure our stay will be perfect. The vila itself is brand new, suprisingly big, the beds are super comfortable we slept 12 hours. The large jacuzzi with the desert view is defenitly one of the place's highlights. Dana prepares the most perfect brakefests very reach and tasty. Overall, one of the best places we slept in Israel. Totaly worth it. Will defintley come back again.
Bedouin-style encampment village surrounded by palm trees, a real desert oasis. Unfortunately, we were there when the war broke out in Israel but they offered us to stay as long as we needed with no extra cost so we could keep safe. They invited us for a bonfire, to walk around, and to drink some beers so we felt relaxed and at home. We can't thank Kfar Hanokdim enough for everything they did for us. We made really good friends and I hope to be back soon. תודה רבה.
A modern furnished accommodation in the basement of the family house. At the back there is access to the garden and the neighborhood. Very cuddly cats and a quiet, pleasant splashing of the fountain greeted us. The hostess was very accommodating, a highly organized woman who gave us a warm welcome.
She even made up the sofa bed for me when she saw that I was traveling with my father.
Highly recommended, in a quiet clean residential area of magical Arad.
We were seven people and had two nice apartments in the house (which, I think has even two more apartments for guests). The team was very friendly and helpful, also with smaller requests and the apartments were well decorated in good taste.
If you have or want to stay in Arad or near the Dead Sea (without having to pay tourist-trap rates at the hotels down there), the apartments can definitely be recommended.
The location is on a nice side street in Arad - close to everything, but far enough away to provide beautiful views of the desert. The room itself is a little tight space-wise, but the porch more than makes up for it. It is definitely a romantic spot and we spent our evenings on the swing looking out at the desert and in the mornings we had breakfast. We definitely hope to stay there again.
We loved our stay at this accommodation! The bed was very comfy, it's very clean und you have everything you need in the flat. There's even a private balcony. It was the best room we had during our traveling in Israel. The owner is very nice and helpful and even brought us homemade cake for breakfast. Thank you such much for everything!
We were given a very warm welcome by Nicole. There were no other guests so we had the place to ourselves which felt like a luxury. It's more like a beautifully done up guesthouse than a hotel. We loved the views and the garden. It was a very good location to explore En Gedi, Masada and the dead sea. Would definitely recommend it.
A beautiful property located at the edge of town overlooking the desert. The hosts were very accomodating and looked after us well. The hotel breakfast is the best we have ever had, and that includes the ones offered at high end hotels. Arad is a great town and a perfect base to locate yourself for trips to the Dead Sea and Masada.
Extremely clean, newer apartment in quiet developmental neighborhood of Arad. All the amenities you need and then some. TV had a guest account for all major streaming apps including Netflix. Pleasant outdoor areas to hang out in when it's not too hot. Super easy check-in process. Less than 45 minutes to Masada.
We travel to Arad together with my boyfriend and we found in ARADA house what we were looking for. The house is amazing and the views are even better. Dana was a great host. She gave us lots of tips and recommendations in Arad and prepared the best breakfast! Thanks Dana for your kind hospitality!
Hi Liran, we'd like to express our gratitude for the lovely weekend in your apartment in Arad. It was a great opportunity for us to rest and enjoy a lovely place in the middle of the desert.
The apartment is really convenient and well equipt.
Thanks a million. Highly recommended. Hila & Milli
Nice space, both inside as the outside patio with great views. Next to the private patio a garden with BBQ and several sitting places. Playground behind the house.
Enough cookinggear to make your own meals if you like.
Quite and safe area at the outside of Arad but still close to the center.
We had a great experience!
The facilities were clean and comfortable. the hosts placed a crib for our baby, and it was wonderful. It was great value for money.
It's only a short drive to some beautiful hikes in the Israeli desert.
The place was clean and nice. Kitchen well equipped. Good wifi. It's a good place to stay by the Dead Sea and to travel around.
Great value to money.
Keep in mind it's Arad so it about half an hour from the sea.
Great staff, very helpful. Amazing location, walking distance to restaurants. This is a beautiful campus with lots of trees and flowers. Also, the large topographic map of Israel is very cool!
It’s a nice location if you want to use it as base for hiking trips to the Masada, the Dead Sea, Ein Gedi areas. Arad has a beautiful lookout point into the dessert, which is highly recommended
A new area of Arad with mountain views around. One can feel a positive energy of the house and the area. There is a nice small park in the nearest of the house.
Great location. The hotel was recently renovated, offering a nice and modern design with many new facilities. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive.
