We loved this place ! Thank you again for the amazing stay !
The yurts are ideally placed to enjoy the amazing view, and only few minutes away from the important things-to-do in the golden cercle.
Everything is clean, and the yurt is very cozy. The breakfast was very good too.
Overall, there is nothing that we didn't liked.
We recommand this place for those who want to enjoy and experience something a little different but great !

Unreal location. Lush views, comfy beds, small but clean and cosy.

Great place, wonderful view, close by interesting places like waterfalls and geysir. The outdoor hot Tub was an unexpected bonus. Bathing under the Northern Light, a magical experience. Ignacio is a caring friendly host. Not a cheap place, but what is cheap in Iceland anyway? Not expensive either, to Icelandic standards. Highly recommended place.
Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Geysir and 28 km of Gullfoss Waterfall.

We had an incredible stay here. The hospitality was perfect, the breakfast was really varied and delicious. The beds and everything was very comfortable. They have a hot tube which we could enjoy at night.
We adored our yurt. This is a unique experience in a remote location. The yurt is incredibly warm, spacious, and comfortable. There is a toilet and sink in the room. It was nice the breakfast is included especially for a reasonably priced hotel (for Iceland standards.) Because it is a boutique location there were limited amounts of other guests which made our stay very peaceful. We went out at night to admire the stars and even caught an aurora. Staff are very kind. Location prime between Geysir and Gulfoss.
We had never stayed in a yurt and it was simply an amazing experience. It was very spacious and furnished beautifully, functional and it was very clean. The weather was very cold and windy but inside it was very cozy due to the heated floors! It’s very close to the Geysir area so this worked out well for us. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Lots of choices in the breakfast yurt. We could not have ask for anything more. Highly recommend this different ‘hotel’ stay!!!
The hotel is in a beautiful location, a bit remote but still close to some main attractions (waterfall, geysir). The rooms are nice and spacious and the surrounding is nice and quiet. The facilities are new and the restaurant ist very nice. The food there was excellent and very fresh. We really enjoyed the fresh lamb and fish with the homemade bread. The breakfast was also very nice and had lots of fresh food to offer. Parking is right in front of the door.
We were booked into Litli Geysir but were transferred to the Hotel Geysir upon arrival. It really is fabulous in terms of a destination hotel. Great architecture and a wonderful place to recoup. Location wise, couldn't be better - across the road is Geysir and a 5 min drive up the road to Gulfoss (or take the bus). Best burger I have ever eaten and the cocktails are worth a sample.
This was the second time I have stayed at Hotel Gullfoss, and I can honestly say it'll be a regular stay for future Iceland visits. This time I was able to bring friends along for the stay, and they even remarked it was one of their favorite stays in Iceland. If you're thinking about staying here even for one night during your Iceland visit, do it!
The rooms are basic but very comfortable. The best part of this hotel is its location, which is very close to several must-see spots in this area of Iceland. I was also very lucky because, being in a rural area, I could see the Northern Lights from the hotel. Another strength of the hostel is its staff. They are very friendly and welcoming.
Hotel is in a great location approximately 2 KM from the waterfall. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast good. We spent 2 nights and were satisfied with our selection of hotels. Considering the location on the golden circle, the room price was quite reasonable.
It is the perfect place to see the northern lights I wouldn’t go anywhere else for this purpose and the yurts are lovely, warm and cosy. Beata is the best person they have on their staff and their neighbours which also have a beautiful hotel with horse riding are so lovely and supportive.
Everything was great, we really enjoyed the hotel and location. It’s situated right in front of the geyser valley. The room was light and spacious, in lobby you have facilities to prepare tea and coffee. The breakfast was in hotel Geysir and it was amazing with stunning view.
Not the average hotel room. Experience the yurtel and enjoy a cool alternative in a great location. Right beween geysir and gulfoss, it is the perfect spot. Nice People taking care of breakfast. Beds are great. Not much to ask for left…
Great breakfast buffet next door at the big hotel
Nice communal area - sofa with view of the geysir.
Free coffee (capsules)- and tea by reception
Comfy beds and very clean.
Great location
Good value compared to others we have stayed
The location is a good base for travellers doing the golden circle. They offer northern lights alert. Though we weren’t able to see it in our stay, I imagine the hotel would be a perfect place to see the northern lights.
The proximity to the geysers and waterfall was ideal. Also dinner and breakfast in the larger hotel were wonderful.
The rooms were small but quiet and clean.
The hotel lounge was beautiful and very relaxing.
The hotel was a perfect base camp for a couple of days around the golden circle! Especially found the staff above and beyond. Also was happy with the food.
