Everything was perfect. The pool, the view, the dogs, the breakfast and dinner service were all amazing. Cristina and Davide were excellent hosts and gave us wonderful recommendations for the rest of our Sicilian trip. Would highly recommend to anyone who is considering staying the area and would love to visit again in the future.

Dinner at the restaurant, it was the best meal of our 1 week trip in Sicilia and went very well with the wine they produce. The room is rather simple but super clean and comfortable. Good quality bed and shower. Secure parking.

If you want to experience something different than Sicilian...
If you want to experience something different than Sicilian tourist traps, then check it out. The small village where everyone knows each other.
Don't expect luxury or big offers at restaurants. If it's windy, it blows here like hell. But if it's nice weather, it feels like a place where time has stopped.

The stuff is not respecting the client’s, the breakfast could be improved much more, the piece of fresh bread must be offered, some slices of cheese and ham do not cost a lot for such type of hotel, it was really unpleasant day after such stuff behaviour 🙈

I went to Villa Zottopera with a friend and we were very happy there as the place exceeded all our expectations. The host family was always super charming and hospitable. When we arrived we even had some food in the fridge. We also enjoyed the simple native kitchen and especially the homemade olive oil and wine. The area of the villa is perfect to relax.

The pool here is lovely!
The pool here is lovely! Very clean and inviting with deck chairs to relax. The place is very clean with air con and a spacious bedroom. The other bedroom was locked off so we had to store our cases in our room. The kitchen was clean though lacking an oven and kettle limiting us to what we could cook, we ended up eating out for dinner each evening which gave us a good chance to explore the local town. The place is very close to the hosts home meaning it lacks some privacy. The pool is shared with the hosts but that’s no problem and we had opportunities to get sole use. It would have been nice to have a small sofa or something else to sit on in the living area other than dining chairs or a single rocking chair but if you’re only using the place to sleep etc then that won’t be much of an issue. Overall it’s a lovely stay with a lovely family but lacks a few little bits which could improve it greatly.

It was an amazing stay! If you like vintage, you should not miss the opportunity to rent this spacious flat. It has three living rooms, a bedroom, a big terrace, and a small kitchen. You can find anything you need in the flat, from olive oil to washing materials. Flat is in the city center and the city is super calm, not busy, clean and all people super friendly. And the owner is very friendly and speaks English. The price is cheaper then if you would rent in Ragusa and it is around 25min driving to Ragusa. 100% worth it.
We arrived quite late (around midnight) due to the flight delay, but Filippo received us very kindly at the house with a series of very good local products (ricotta, bread, sausages, wine, etc). The house has good living conditions, is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and with air conditioning. The pool is nice and has a machine for automatic cleaning. The house is on a large, quiet property with many fruit trees.
Terre di Senia is a wonderful, traditional and modern place to relax and calm down. The place is comfortable like a hotel, and familiar and cosy like you are visting friends. The owner created a amazing place on this olive farm. There is a harmony in every detail around you cannot describe. We really enjoyed our stay.
By the way the owner are excellent cooks.
And they and Senna, were looking for us all the time.
The Locanda is placed in a beautiful scenery near the town of Chiaramonte Gulfi, and kind of convenient to move around different towns of Ragusa province. The entrance is majestic and the place is very well restored. Is very photogenic. The restauran offer a high-end cuisine with local products and wines produced by their own Gulfi winery. There's a big swimming pool nearby.
If you're looking to leave the hustle and bustle behind you, this is the place to be. A slice of genuine Sicilian country life, surrounded by trees and flowers and of course, an incredible welcome by Paolo and his sidekick Francesco. It's not a luxury place, but clean and simple. And make sure to buy some olive oil, harvested by Paolo and reminiscent of days gone by.
Absolutely relaxing place - ideal for families travelling with children. Ideal place to visit by car since restaurants are around 15 mins drive away. Property gate is always locked - a safe place for the car and for the kids! Would definitely recommend and revisit! Owner and staff are extremely helpful. Property is super clean and breakfast is abundant!
Our stay at Villa Santa Margherita was wonderful. It was actually my second time visiting, and I would come back anytime. The house has been beautifully renovated. The property itself is stunning, and the tranquility and relaxation you can experience there are perfect. The owners are very kind and helpful, and their olive oil is absolutely delicious.
I've been here for the third time now for short stays. It's a clean hotel and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is also very good with toasts a good choice of Brioches, juices, yoghurts, local cheese/ham etc.
Nice and very clean room. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional. It was very nice taking to Davide and Christina. For sure we'll try to come back with friends and take cooking lessons from Davide.
