The room was very spacious and clean. The host very kind. The grounds could use some gardening work and I would pave a path that leads to the entrance. We were there in rainy days and the parking area and short way to the entrance were very muddy and slippery. Our room was impeccable, however the breakfast and check in area had a moldy smell. I know that houses in the countryside can encounter this problem during rainy days due to increased humidity, however I think that some improvement in term of isolating the walls could be done to reduce the odor. Also a bigger sign would help. Other than that, I really liked the rustic atmosphere and room was very comfortable with spacious bathroom.

The purpose our visit to Fiesole was to celebrate our friend's birthday whom we had not seen for years. We had never heard of Fiesole, but they were staying there for a 3 week holiday (from Canada) and so we joined them with zero expectations. Fiesole was absolutely lovely, and frankly two days was not enough. We ate very well at local restaurants and visited the lovely Franciscan monastery on top of the hill, which is well worth a look. An incredible museum with Chinese coins dating back to the 100AC (!) and an Egyptian mummified kitten amongst other extremely old antiquities! Was not expecting that LOL!
View of Florence is spectacular from Fiesole, and to think you are in a small little quiet 'village' just 20 mins drive away.

We did not see much of Fiesole because our stay was short and we were focused on Florence but we would really like to have visited the Roman ruins of Fiesole. The part of town that we stayed in has a nice piazza with a restaurant, an ice-cream parlor and a really yummy food truck. It is really well connected to Florence (a cheap bus takes you to the city in 20 min. and it comes every 15 so it is really convenient). The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the whole valley with Florence in the middle. We also saw the post office and a grocery store around there. It is really a pleasant town with a lot to offer.

Quaint little town on the hill above Florence, easily accesable by bus from the centre of Florence. There are few restaurants and cafe's in the centre and also a historic centre with Roman ruins and a museum. We had 3 nights tehre, but could have easily stayd more, as the vibe of the small time is great and if you get bored you can easily go to Florence and back.

Fiesole is a beautiful vibrant village in the hills above Florence. Wonderful views back towards the city. Fascinating history to explore. The perfect place to stay out of the hustle of the city and only a 20 odd minute bus trip away. Lots of great bars and restaurants. A well stocked small supermarket. We love Fiesole.

Deliberately booked fiesole as didn't want the chaos of florence centre. However, there is a number 7 bus that goes back and forth 1.50 euro takes about 22 mins and very frequent.I believe would get a better class hotel in centre and yes same price or less .The walks are tiring around fiesole but views worth it. we were lucky sun was shining each day. some amazing sunsets about 7pm.Little cake shop towards bottom hill ALCEDO cheapest coffee to go and amazing cakes.Coop sells all need to make picnics as food is very costly
Nice flat, clean, functional, charming.
A little dark, but this did not bother us at all. On the contrary, the flat keeps a certain coolness that is much appreciated in summer... By the way, the air conditioning works well.
Free parking nearby.
No view, but very pleasant, quiet, although in the city centre.
Close to a COOP, for shopping for food and other items during your stay.
Easy bus connection to Florence, from Fiesole square less than 5 minutes walk from the flat. Take the bus 7, price 1.50 €, and about 30 minutes of travel.
The staff were amazing before we turned up, whatsapping messages even though they weren't at work. The facilities were very comfortable, with an amazing view, a peaceful village, and the Florence locals calling it the balcony overlooking their city. Everything you needed was in Fiesole, mini-market, chemist, deli, bars, restaurants, local bus service, awardwinning 16k cycle route, with Fiesole being its highest point! and an amazing viewpoint over Florence, with a beautiful church. The village also has its own cathedral.
A very charming and wonderful place to stay, especially for a trip to Florence. Stefania is a very welcoming and lovely host. The rooms are spacious, clean and decorated in a lovely Italian style. The center of the town is in just 2 mins walk, where you can find restaurants and also the bus to Florence city center. The breakfast is very delicious and you can enjoy some wondrous home made Italian pastries. Would love to return!
Roberto didn't speak any English but he was so kind and welcoming! The flat was very cute and spacious, we especially loved the kitchen. Gorgeous view as well on the way to the bus stop every day, where the centre of Florence can be easily reached. We went multiple times to the restaurant nearby "Vinandro Vino e Desco Molle", highly recommended. The archaeological ruins in Fiesole are worth a short visit as well 🙂
The entire staff team were FANTASTIC were were made to feel so welcome and nothing was a problem. Barbara was exceptional in her service and couldn’t help us enough with places to go and things to do. We were sad to go and will definitely be back and will recommend Hotel Villa Fiesole to our friends and family. Stay safe until we meet again.

Christina was a fantastic host. Very clean and comfortable accommodations and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was great. The apartment was very cute and recently remodeled. Christina went out of her way to greet us at our car and helped with the hauling of the luggage down the hill to the apartment and back up for our departure.
It’s everything you could possibly dream of for a farm stay in Tuscany. The hospitality of the host, the home prepared breakfast and the entire property and views were exceptional. We were exploring Italy by car. I would highly recommend a car for this area.
The property is in the city center of Fiesole, for a 5 minute walk from bus station, from where you can get to Florence. There were free coffee, tea, water, orange juice, croissants and biscuits in the kitchen. The coffee especially was great 😊.
It’s a great location -close to Florence and Fiesole. It’s beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. Elegant and perfect views. Good parking. Breakfast each morning was homemade and locally sourced. We wish we could have stayed a week
Tomasso was wonderful and easy to contact. A short bus ride allows escape from tourism with access within 15 or so minutes. Washer was a plus as well as bigger fridge. Will definitely come back next time we visit Fiesole/Firenze!
The pool area had lots of chairs and sun beds for relaxation. A good reliable bus service into Fiesole village. After a day place in busy Florence or a hike/bike ride, it’s a good place to relax in a peaceful locations.
The kids (5 & 9) loved the animals and the pool. That was so much fun for them. The location was nice as it wasn’t far from Florence at all. The staff was very friendly.
The owners were extremely helpful. Their breakfast was excellent. Great showers and lots of hot water. Proximity to Florence was good. Rooms were large and very clean.
The view, the garden and the interior are amazing! You have a city trip without the busy florence city! Escape to the garden after walking around all day.
Location, room, food, overall ambiance were all wonderful and the pricing was reasonable for the hotel. It was one of the best parts of our trip to Italy.
