During our stay my partner and I didn’t take the time to explore the city of Sassari. But during the evenings we did enjoy going to a couple nice restraunts. We did enjoy using the public transportation to visit other cities but overall sassari is a very calm place to stay and very close to the north western part of the island.

Not a real tourist town but with a nice old centre (small streets, high houses, colorful facades). When we visited it (late afternoon + early evening first week of May), it was extremely quiet - some squares seemed totally deserted - which created a weird atmosphere. Scene and streets got more livelier around Piazza d'Italia and University but not what you might expect from a city with >100.000 inhabitants.
Conclusion: nice but not unmissable.

Sassari is a very nice town with historical city center, old walls and friendly people. Sadly the tram line is not working, although it would be useful. You can stay here for many days like at home. The town is near Alghero and Porto Torres, so many programs are there at the sea also. Recommended for everyone.

Sassari itself was disappointing.
Sassari itself was disappointing. We walked around it in an afternoon! However it was a great base for exploring the local area with great transport links! We visited Alghero, Porto Torres, Castelsardo and Stintino

The city is nice but i belive that is not the best place for accommodation in Sardignia! No beach and you need a car for traveling and stay in around 4 hours/day.
Nice restaurants in the city :) with nice athmosfere!
This is literally the best location in Sassari if you come by car - the parking garage is round the corner. You can ask for a pass for a few days and come and go just by scanning it (it's not on the price board). The supermarket is a few steps away, a good one.
The apartment itself is spacious but more cosy than in the pictures, well equipped. Old building, high ceilings, authentic entrance, still all the necessary comfort.
The owner was very kind and helpful.
Honestly, this is a really nice apartment for staying in Sassari. Close to everything. Impeccably clean, functioning air conditioning for the hot nights and plenty of space for 2 people. Bathroom facilities were really nice as well and the shower worked perfectly. Also, the host was very helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend this apartment for staying in Sassari if you want to have a few days in private!
This is a great place to stay in Sassari. We enjoyed everything: the cosy atmosphere in the rooms, the furnitures and works are of good quality, the place on the terrasse for breakfast is nice, the breakfast as well (our host made savory breakfast because we did not want sweet ones).
It was easy to communicate with Massimo.
The place was spotless: respect for maintaining such cleanliness in all the building!
The host was very friendly and answered the questions very quickly. We could leave the bags before check-in as we came to Sassari earlier then official check-in time. The apartment was clean. We stayed there for one night and for that purpose it was ok. The place was also pretty near to the city center and train station. Bathroom was ok although the water pressure was very low.
The apartment was spacious. The bathroom was very clean and updated. Noise cancellation was excellent, did not hear neighbors or noise surrounding the streets. The hostess provided EXCELLENT instructions for parking and getting into the apartment safely. She also went above and beyond and provided activity recommendations outside of Sassari.
Cleanliness, location and comfort. Everything was brand new and spotless! Marco had considered guests and their needs and was available to answer any questions or give recommendations etc. Exceeded our expectations and would definitely recommend the property to any couple wishing to stay in the centre of Sassari.
This is a gorgeous hotel. The rooms are spotless and very comfy beds, Great location, very easy to walk in Sassari which is a very interesting place, The staff and owner are very helpful with lots of useful advise about places to visit and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. I would love to stay here again.
Massimo was super friendly and helpful. He recommended some places to visit on our trip down to Cagliari. Place is clean. Good location within Sassari and we used it as a base to visit Alghero and other cities/beaches. We were able to find parking on the street a couple blocks away.
The accommodation was great! Although in an older building, the inside of the apartment had everything we needed and more! Plenty of breakfast amenities, and the owner was really nice. We enjoyed out stay there and loved that the place is in the centre of Sassari!
Great location to explore Sassari and Sardinia (a few min walk from the train station). The place had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with Wi-Fi which was fixed super quickly by the host. Would definitely recommend!
The property was great, right in the heart of Sassari.
It was clean and very comfortable.
Very close to the center and the host was extremely kind, professional and helpful. Definitely staying here again on our next visit to Sassari.
Nice apartment very close to city, but in the nature. Beautiful views, no disturbing by cars and very friendly and willingness owner, Mrs. Franca and their family. Highly recommended for spending time in Sassari. Thank you Franka
The Hotel decor is elegant and modern, creating a confortable ambience. My room was spacious, impeccably clean and beautifully furnished. The bed was incredibly confortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We stay 1 day there.
Great location in Sassari old town. Very clean, spacious and well presented with comfortable beds. Really convenient for local shops and restaurants. Air conditioning was great and good to have a washing machine and drier.
Great location. Evelyn was very helpful and pleasant. Hotel recently renovated and the decor is very tasteful. Very generous breakfast - far too much for our taste!
