Kamisuwa Onsen Shinyu, hotel in Suwa

Boasting large hot spring baths and great Suwa Lake views, Kamisuwa Onsen Shinyu provides Japanese-style guestrooms with a modern touch in a relaxing ambiance.

A very nice ryokan, serving traditional japanese brrakfast and dinner. You have your private parlour in the restaurant, where you are served. The rooms are traditional, you sleep in the futon beds, which the staff makes for you. The rooms with lake view are just amazing.

Featuring a garden, 一組貸切宿 岡村 弐番館 一棟まるまる貸切 features accommodations in Suwa. Complimentary Wifi is featured throughout the property and private parking is available on site.

We had a lovely stay here, lots of space, peaceful neighbourhood, close to sake breweries if you're interested in that kind of thing, combini also a short (5min?) walk. Be aware that it's quite a long walk from the lake itself and suits those who have a car best. It felt comfortable and welcoming - we'd definitely stay again!

A hidden gem in the Japan Alps.

A hidden gem in the Japan Alps. Not only is the view of the lake and mountains breathtaking, the people are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. A visit to the museums, castle, heritage house and shrines are recommended to discover the history of Suwa. The Clock Museum and Music Box Museum must not be missed. The foot onsen are very relaxing.
