As the rooms are grouped around an inner courtyard (with pool), it is relatively quiet, despite the busy streets nearby.
The bed was comfortable. The location is good (the river with many lively restaurants is not far away), and many interesting sites are walking distance away.

Bed was incredibly comfortable and HUGE! Room was styled very nicely, had all the necessary accessories and extras. Air con was great which is important when it’s 38 degrees outside! Food in the restaurant, both downstairs and on the roof terrace was fantastic with big portions. Staff were great, very friendly and efficient. Hotel location was good, easy and fast to reach from the airport, view of the river across to Thailand, nice and quiet with a short walk into the centre of town.

We had no issues with our stay here. The hotel was a in a good location, walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops and tourist sites. Also close to the central bus station which is useful for getting out of town, to places such as Buddha Park. The room was an okay size and the bathroom was good, and equipped with toiletries. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning worked well. There was a water fountain on every floor so we could get free drinking water whenever. Breakfast was okay too, and nice that it was included in the price. The staff were welcoming too, and allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel until we got a sleeper bus in the evening.

Vientiane is starting out on its journey to become a popular tourist area - facilities are improving and what is there now works well. Modern hotels are in process of being built and transport infrastructure is developing - the China/Laos hi
gh-speed railway is certainly opening up this country.
Currently, mass tourism has not yet arrived (unlike many other places, where you seem to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with half the world's population).
If you want to go, go soon (but not in the wet season - wet is really wet!) - we can see that in a few year's time this lovely country could be overwhelmed with the evils of mass tourism, with hundreds of coaches queuing daily to get to the ancient cultural sites!

Title: Vientiane: A City of Charm and Culinary Delights
Review:
Vientiane, the heart of Laos, is a city that radiates charm and hospitality. During my visit, I was constantly struck by the friendliness of the locals, who added warmth to every encounter. The city's culinary scene was a delightful surprise; each meal, whether at a humble street stall or a cozy restaurant, was a delicious exploration of Laotian flavors. While Vientiane may not top the list for a single-visit itinerary in Laos, it's undeniably worth spending a few days in. The city offers a unique blend of tranquility and cultural richness, making it a pleasant and memorable part of any Laotian adventure.

Kinda sleepy, and not as many Day Tours and things to do as Luang Prabang or other nearby Asian cities. The only tour I did was because I saw a sign on a tree offering a three-site half day thing for just $10USD. His name is Tungchai and I recommend his tour ... Find him here ... https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100067140248570 ... After that, I decided on a flash one-night visit to Vang Vieng / Nam Ngum Lake. The bullet train is FANTASTIC and that area up there is beautiful!

I booked this Hotel for married friends who came for 3 nights. The room was excellent as was the price. I gave an outstanding review. Yesterday I sent another friend there as it was so good. At check in they tried to put him in a small, smelly room where nothing (TV, safe etc) were working. He was forced to go to Reception and tell them it wasn't good enough. He was then put into the room he booked. This is very disappointing and has me doubting my original review. It's a shame that things like this happen in this country regularly. If you get the room you booked, this Hotel is excellent. Best of Luck.

Beautiful city, capital of Laos.
Beautiful city, capital of Laos. The city is spread out but still very walkable or by tuk tuk with many things to see and eat. The night market is nearby the river with some sort of kiddie amusement park. There seems to be a mix of old and modern entertainment to explore but I didn't do much (busy working). Lots of food stalls, dining options. Haven't had one bad meal but some are better than others for sure. The night food market near D Mart is superb for food finds.
sadly the hotel was not what we expected. I know the price is cheap but we have paid less than this elsewhere in Laos and the quality has been far higher. we booked online and our room was already booked when we arrived. we were told we were upgraded to a bigger room. this was kind and we now had a room with three beds in it. the air con worked and the bed despite having a mattress like wood was pretty comfortable and we slept well. the location is really good and the staff are very friendly.
We stayed here 2 times over the course of 1 week - 2 nights upon arrival to Laos and 1 night upon departure. It's a brand new hotel and the facilities are excellent. The front desk is hospitable but speak limited English which is common across Laos so not a major issue. The bar and restaurants are both top notch as is the spa. On our second stay the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed!
The hotel’s location is walking distance to good restaurants/cafes & to several attractions - Laos Namphau Park, night market, Presidential Palace, Patuxay Monument & Park, Sisaket Museum, morning market & temples. The hotel is clean. Breakfast is great! Hotel staffers are very helpful & courteous. Room is clean. Size of the room where we stayed is okay. Towels are changed daily.
Nothing, there were bugs everywere, dead lizards smashed on bathroom door. The A/C didn't work, the internet worded off and on, cable tv didn't work. we left after a few days (we had a nine day booking) and they didn't refund our money. And booking.com wasn't any help either. this is a tourist trap, and booking.com should be ashamed to be promoting this dirty hotel.
Stayed here for our last night in Laos, and was fantastic. Right near the river and all the restaurants along the river. A bit further out but still close to everything. New hotel so it is very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Vientiane. It has a small pool and breakfast is cooked fresh off menu.
Great place to stay, very close to most of the major attractions, onsite spa, breakfast at Lao Nana Restaurant. The breakfast service and sunset cocktails excellent. The restaurant proprietor Kevin was informative on living in Laos and attractions to visit. Hotel and restaurant staff very professional, quickly addressed anything we needed. Recommend.
I like how we are greeted and how clean the hotel is. We are staying in the Executive Suite its really nice! Quiet and peaceful. The hotel manager made everything possible from a upgrade from the king deluxe. I will always reccomended this hotel for all my family and friends from the USA. Best hotel experience! 5 stars!!!

The terrace was nice, Jenny is a friendly and helpful host. After we arrived we didn't get the room we had booked because the key was lost by a customer. They repaired it on the next day and we got our room. Breakfast was very limited but it is common for Laos.
I am Lao, my trip is for work. I am very happy with my stay in this hotel, staffs is friendly, breakfast is very good. Location is in the city center. Staff also up grade the room with no fee charge , I would come to stay again
Everything, cleanest hostel of my 12 days in Laos.
The bed comes with clean linens and you have privacy with the curtains.
The hostel feels safe and the staff is great.
They even helped me to book a taxi for an early flight.
Staff was super helpful planning out the remainder of my time in Laos and booking train tickets with no markup. Learned the drinking game 3-6-9 with people I met here (not a party hostel, just met them here)
Really nice rooms that have recently been updated. Very thing was clean and the location was ideal. The hotel is centrally located in Vientiane but its tucked away on a side street so its nice and quiet.
Best hostel ever in Laos! A lot of toilets, a whole floor just for female dorms and bathrooms.
Amazing cafe, very cozy. Not exactly a social hostel but i had so much comfort
Kind staff with good location, if you have a lot of bags this hotel has an elevator (many don't in Laos)
Included breakfast is simple and made to order.
