The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the ladies on reception and the English speaking waitress. Our L shaped family room was enormous with fabulous views. Spotlessly clean. Great swimming, plenty of sunbeds for all. Short walk along the seafront into the town. Delicious food. My teenagers favorite stop on our holiday even though we were all in one room!

We really enjoyed breakfast. A big variety of cheeses, bakery, meat, eggs, there was everything. And additional thank you for the different kinds of plant milk.
The hotel provided us a large room for 2 families as a bonus, even though we paid for just a superior room. It was very big, two bathrooms and a huge terrace with a magnificent view on the sea. There even was a room for the baggage.
The personal was very friendly, provided us a parking lot and consulted on where it is better to park in Herceg-Novi.
Free sunbeds, towels and umbrellas on the beach. Entering the sea from a ladder immediately to the depths. That was comfortable because you do not step on the rocks and the water is very clear.

The coast from Igalo to the ferry at Kamenari is served by Blue Bus
Route 1 - but only in one direction; return is by a different route. The
are free public conveniences - adjacent to a public park.
Route 1 does not serve the bus station but Route 2 does. The town is
renown for its steps but I found the route between the main square
and the bus station less challenging than central routes in other towns.
An advantage is that the main streets flow with the contours and are
gentle when moving between them.
Towns do not excite me and I did not explore in any depth but I sense
that this town has resisted the onslaught of homogeneity and that it
has managed to survive economically. I even saw one building with a
"Red Star" flag from the former Yugoslavia.

You have to be fit fo you to visit all the city (a lot of steps). The food was amazing, sometimes it’s cheaper to go to a restaurant than to cook yourself at home.
No matter which side of Herceg Novi you are, you have splendid views. If you like to go hiking you can do that too, and when you get to the top you get mesmerised.

Herceg Novi is great if you don't want something extreme tourist like Kotor. The long walking boulevard along the seaside offers many bars, restaurants and beaches. You'll find a wide range of accommodations from fancy hotels to hostels and many vacation flats. I had a nice dinner twice at Yacht Club Restaurant along the boulevard. Top service, reasonable prices and a beautiful view. Keep in mind though that most of the city is built uphill so plenty of climbing to do.

The town is beautiful and the landscape is more beautiful.
The town is beautiful and the landscape is more beautiful. The bay of Kotor is very imposing. Budva is like Amerika when somebody like this it must not fly a lot. The transport is horrible but I know between the mountain is impossible to build highways.

Wonderful beaches. not too busy. The sea water is slightly cool, wonderful for hot August days. Lots of restaurants at reasonable prices.
Traveling by bus is comfortable and very cheap. 1 euro, but sometimes very crowded, especially in the evening.

We visited the old town and drank a very good traditional coffee. A very nice city with many restaurants, a central park and a multitude of shops for all tastes. I recommend you to visit the city in the morning, if you are in the summer season, because the temperatures are lower.
Modern and pretty hotel right at the beachside. Comfortable room with plenty of space and nice, modern bathroom. Beautiful balcony with a very nice sea view. Excellent staff - super nice and helpful. Nice selection of foods for dinner and breakfast, reasonable wine prices. Seamless parking. Everything was super clean. The beach is concrete (like most in Herceg Novi) but is private and guests get sunbeds, umbrellas and towels for free.
Agape is a newly open,(June 2023) family run hotel. It is sparkling clean, most comfortable and it commands spectacular views of the sea, Herceg Novi and the village of Rose.
The dedication and service of each member of staff is superb. It is much more than professional - they really care.
If you want to surround yourself by sheer beauty and escape the hectic world we live in this will be the right spot for you.
We had a fabulous stay at Lazure celebrating my 50th birthday. Exceptional hotel with one of the best spas we have visited, super friendly staff, and a fantastic seaside suite with a fantastic view. We got a very nice welcome gift with a chilled bottle of wine and some chocolate at the room from the staff, thank you so much for this! We highly recommend this place to anyone that is visiting beautiful Herceg Novi!
I would definitely stay here again! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well situated near the old town. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, offering to drive us to and from the bus station, and storing our luggage when we’d checked out. It was fantastic value for money and I would recommend this apartment to anyone planning on staying in Herceg Novi.
A fantastic aparthotel situated atop a hill, offering cool views and 5-minute walk to the beach, bus stop, and promenade. The apartments are roomy and come fully equipped with all the kitchen essentials for both short and extended stays. The check-in process is seamless, and the receptionist is kind and helpful.
Friendly staff. Large rooms, comfy beds, air conditioning easily controlled. Clean bathroom. Good advice to use a bus for a trip to Herceg Novi. Bus stop nearby, a ride is scheduled every 30 minutes, it takes ca. 10-12 minutes, tickets at 1 euro available in the bus. A taxi on the way back costs ca. 10 euros.
Everything was just amazing.
We arrived bit earlier and our apartment was ready for us, spotless clean and shiny.
Everything is just like new.
Nice swiming pool, perfect view of Herceg novi and the beach is not far.
Owner of apartments was very helpful as well and she is there for literaly anything u need.
Very good communication from Doris. She showed us everything and left us a few snacks in the room. The apartment has a great view of the water. It's a bit of a hike to the more touristy part of Herceg Novi, which was a plus for us (and everywhere in Herceg Novi is a bit of a hike, it's a town of stairs)
The owner was really nice and helpfull. Location near the beaches and not far from the old town either. Room has all necessary facilities, so has the kitchen. Clean bathrooms. Balony and garden. Private parking place available was a life-saver in Herceg Novi.
Amazing apartment and the host was very helpful and pleasant. It’s in a peaceful neighborhood, yet everything is close by.. the beach, a cafe, supermarkets and the city center. We plan to stay here as soon as we’re in Herceg Novi again!
The breakfast was good and fresh with many options. We loved the location of the hotel, you could walk anywhere in Herceg Novi. The hotel has direct access to its’ own beach which was really good.
The rooms were very clean.
