The triple room met expectations in every way (even had curtains to block sunlight in the morning), except size. With three people and luggage, it was a little difficult to move around and operate. Especially the small bathroom was a bit surprising. From my point of view, the size was the only downside to our stay. Breakfast was very tasty, but a bit too fatty and meaty. I'm not criticising Blue River Tara for this, just noting that some foreigners (not Montenegrins) may become a little sick of these breakfasts after a day or two. Montenegrin kitchen simply doesn't suit everyone.

The rafting organised by the hotel was excellent. The whole family enjoyed our day on the river. The scenery was truly beautiful and ideal for walking, sketching and taking stunning photos. This is a small hotel and there is not really a village as such so you will have to be prepared to do some driving if you wish to use the hotel as a base. Staff were amazing and knowledgeable.
