I'd recommend both the hotel and restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I stopped on a bikepacking trip and no problem to store my bike. The hot water and high water pressure of the shower were truly a gift!! I had trout at the restaurant it was really fresh and flavorful. highly recommend!

Wow. What an exceptional service we had at Lakeview apartments.
Firstly, the scenery is beautiful. The apartments are located in a quiet but not entirely secluded place, with an easy 5 minute walk into the centre of Virpazar (across a main road and train track so be cautious). The apartment was equipped with everything needed for our short stay and was a good base for exploring Lake Skadar.
Apartment aside, our stay was made by the exceptional service from the host. It is evident that she works tirelessly to provide an outstanding service. She made us feel so welcome and is incredibly generous. If you stay at Lakeview apartments be sure to take advantage of her amazing cooking and home made wine!
I would recommend this stay to anybody looking to explore Lake Skadar and the surrounding area.

The location of the property is perfect. You are right in the heart of the action. Great views in the morning and sunset. Walking distance to all the activities and restaurants that Virpazar has to offer. The private parking space is valuable for such a small busy town.
The apartment is well represented by the pictures. Great lounge area and spacious balcony. Small compact kitchen but workable for the 4 nights that we were there.
Zoran helped us with the tourist registration papers. He helped us with a small grocery shop as we were arriving on a Sunday when supermarkets are closed. He also reminded us of supermarket closures during the national holidays so we were able to stock up on essentials.
Zoran was always on hand with anything that we needed. We asked for an iron and a clothes drying rack and these were provided immediately.
Zoran also gave us a card that allowed us to receive 10% discount in a few of the local restaurants, which was a lovely bonus.

I had a wonderful experience at guest house Luna. The apartment is lovely and so is everybody working there! It is a bit tricky to find on your own, so I would recommend going to the Luna Store just outside the train station. They helped me out a lot with activities around Virpazar and gave me plenty of tips for other destinations in Montenegro too. The house was very clean when I arrived, the beds very comfortable and the wifi worked well all the time.

The most favourite spot was the acommodation itself, his hospitality and the lake itself. I ate in a reastaurant, in the house and on the beech.
Everywhere was perfect and delicious.
It is easy to get to Virpazar, both from Sutomore and Podgorica.
There is nothing to avoid, everything was great.

I thought the lake was over-rated.
I thought the lake was over-rated.
We enjoyed a morning kayaking (about 9km) and saw some water birds but I have had much better kayaking experiences elsewhere in pristine environments.
In places the water was smelly, I certainly wouldn't swim in it. There was also rubbish floating in various places. Nice from a distance - climb the short track to the monastary and take in a more distant view.
The township didn't seem particularly special - a base for boat and kayak trips wand a few restaurants.

An incredible place if you like wildlife and easy walking. A great place to relax for a few days. Lovely lanes and villages to walk looking for tortoises, snakes and lizards. A couple of nice, medium walks off the lanes.
The people are very friendly and can speak pretty good English and like a bit of banter.
Also has some nice relaxed bars and restaurants, no hard sell.

Virpazar is a very small village - a supermarket, a restaurant by the river and one more close to supermarket. The reason to go there is to sail on the lake - must be gordious in the summer - we were there in beginning of april - a bit chilly and not a lot of birds. But we took a boat trip and visited an old church and said hello to the munks from a nearby convent.

The main attraction is lake skadar, and it’s even more beautiful than pictures I’ve seen on the internet. I’ve never seen so much natural beauty before! You have to book a boat tour in order to truly experience the lake in all its glory.

Very small town, bridge is the main attraction and you constantly get hustled into boat trips round the lake. One of the local restaurants wouldn't let us use the toiled under the pretence of no water, but it is OK for them to use it and serve the food. We have been told they do it often so their toilets wouldn't get dirty. Anyway we left for another restaurant Rostiljada outside of the Virpazar and we were not disappointed.
We loved everything about this place! This was our favorite place we stayed in our entire time in Montenegro. The view was amazing from our room! They brought us coffee and juice upon our arrival. They were very accommodating when we arrived early. We did the boat tour while waiting for our room to be ready. The room was extremely clean. I'd say it was cleaner than some 5 star hotels I've stayed at in the US. The owners of the facility are very welcoming, and I felt right at home. Walking distance from lots of restaurants.
The hosts were exceptionally kind and wellcoming. At our arrival they invited us to have a drink of their homemade grappa with them and left some homemade wine and grappa for us to try in the fridge. In the morning their son took us on 2 hr trip on the lake where we saw both kormorans and pelikans. Upon our return to Jocker we had amazing breakfast with coffee and dessert. Never during our travels have we experienced such hospitality! Absolutely recommend this place if you ever wish to visit the Skadar Lake.
Located in the heart of Virpazar.
The rooms are spacious and have a modern design. Everything was clean and the air condition is working fine - so no worries when it is 34degrees on the outside. :)
The check in is via the outdoor agency in a green building, the lady working there is super friendly and shared some tips for swimming and wine tasting with us.
We also booked the 3h boat trip offered and ended being 4h on the boat with Ilija who knows a lot about the area and was a great guide.
it was 3 mins drive from Lake Skadar and also grocery. The host was super gracious and had fruit and milk upon arrival. He gave great recommendations, and was always available. We were so grateful for the fully equipped kitchen and the extras including AC and washer dryer. this place was our favorite after a week in 4 Airbnb in Montenegro. There’s also a cute winery by the house open till 9pm for tasting. location is incredible.
Marko is the kindest and most hospital host we'd ever had! He will do the best to make your stay unforgettable. He arranged a boat trip for us, recommend some places to eat, told us about Montenegro's history and his winery. We got to taste his wine, don't want to spoil, but it is really good. He is really helpful and the place is cozy and clean. Totally recommend this place if you want to visit Virpazar and lake Skadar.
Great location as it was within walking distance of all of the restaurants, Boat Cruise on the lake. Wifi in the room worked well. Sara was a great host, she helped us plan a hike with our 2 year old son, recommended a boat cruise and great restaurants in the area. Sufficient parking available. Highly recommend staying here if visiting Virpazar!
We were cycling through Montenegro and stayed at this property one night. We like the location in Virpazar, short walk to supermarket and restaurants in town. The room is a small studio apartment. It was a quiet location and comfortable stay.
Our Journey at Mond Apartment was amazing. The room was good and the place and the view into the mountains is incrédible. Only 10 minutes from virpazar.
Our host was really kind with us, everything was perfect
Thank you Again

Very nice Apartment in Virpazar, with great view and fantastic host ! We had a very nice wine tasting of their selfmade wine and he arranged a boat trip for us. When staying in Montenegro again, we would definetly come back here again.
Wonderful stay at Virpazar ! Everything was perfect, including the ride on the lake in the morning and the breakfast. The hosts are extremely nice and give good advices to visit the area. I can only recommand this stay !
Marko and his mother are great hosts and we had a wonderful time in the apartment. The view is stunning and the breakfast and dinner are excellent as well. Our stay here was the highlight of our travel in Montenegro.
We stayed for one night and had a great time. Aleksander and his grandparents are very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here while traveling to Virpazar.
Really enjoyed this place! Very clean, good location right by the main square in Virpazar, run by a very friendly family (appreciated the home-baked cake upon arrival :-))
Very kind and helpful hosts. Breakfasts were very tasty. The location is 5 min from train station but 15 minutes from Virpazar center, where you can find all boat trips
Beautiful newly refurbished studio right in the heart of the town. Short walk to Besac castle and viewpoints as well. It is an excellent choice for visiting Virpazar.
Nice house about 1.5 km from Virpazar. It is possible to walk or go by car, but it is hard to park in Virparzar. Good place for breakfast in the sun in the morning.
The apartment was very clean. The lady was also very nice and welcoming. It is located a bit outside Virpazar, just a short 15 min walk to the village center.
