We got a room upgrade to the aparments, so we can't comment on the hotel rooms. The breakfast was amazing - hot and fresh with lots of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful - our aparment was missing a hair dryer and we received it during housekeeping the next day. Also the luggage storage was very convenient and it's free.

Great value for money and a very friendly host. The apartment is very big, though we didn't use much. WiFi is also provided and the balconies are nice. Neighbours are friendly and quiet. The AC unit works very well. Having a fridge is useful too. If you simply need a place to stay for the night, this works.

The manager Mohamed was incredibly welcoming and helpful.He made sure we have everything we need for our vacation. We would definitely come back.
The room was clean,modern and soacious.We stayed at the last floor and we had a huge terrace with the most amazing view.
The location is great-lots of buses,nice cafes.
We had wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to others

Nice place, very good to eat. But Malta in general is nearly full with buildings. So a lot of people, a lot of traffic. Maltese people in general are quite secluded, even though everybody speaks English quite well. If you strike up a conversation with somebody in the street, you can be sure it's a foreign traveler too.DriesBelgium - 10Scored 10
I also spent time in Valletta, Sliema and Gozo.
I also spent time in Valletta, Sliema and Gozo. I'm so glad I ended the trip in Marsaskala. It's a lot quieter and more comfortable the other places I stayed. It was the perfect way to wind down and enjoy the harbor, the people and the ambiance of Malta before leaving. And it's also closer to the airport!

We had a week in St Pauls Bay so our 2nd week at Marsaskala...
We had a week in St Pauls Bay so our 2nd week at Marsaskala was most welcome. A quiet coastal village/small town and off of the main tourist route. Having said that, Valletta is only 20 minutes away and easily reached by bus for 2euros or a Bolt Taxi for about 12 euros. Bolt is superb service and cheaper than white taxis & Uber. We used them quite a bit in our 2 weeks when some buses were full. Marsaxlokk 10 minutes away is well worth a visit, go on Sunday if you want heaving crowds around the market or any other day if you want to enjoy the fishing village with sme 70 fishing boats in the bay, a few market stalls and a very relaxed feel. If you do visit on Sunday, avoid the stall selling 'Maltese' small biscuits & cakes right opposite the village square/Costa Coffee. There are lots of online warnings about him, items are unpriced but when you come to pay you will be ripped off eg. 5 euro for a 2" almond cake. He won't give you a refund if you complain. In Marsaskala, 'Cool Waters' bar has excellent food and very reasonably priced. Orient Market 3 is a big well stocked supermarket with good prices.

We liked St Thomas Bay - wonderful for swimming (there is a small sandy beach and several rocky spots) and for starting your walks (we walked to the village of Marsaxlokk, through very beautiful labdscapes). We found some nice restaurants with very tasty food. The town itself did not look particularly interesting to us, but we only covered a small neighbourhood, so wouldn't know about the rest.AAnonymous - 6.0Scored 6.0
Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals.
Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals. Some boats but not a lot going in and out. It is not close to a sandy beach. There are a few small supermarkets and several restaurants with different price ranges to choose from. The problem is if you wish to travel by car then it is in part of the urban Valetta area and there are very busy roads to navigate to get in and out.

The room perfectly corresponds to its price, everything is clean, there are all the necessary things in the kitchen. We had enough for three days, i.e. - coffee, toilet paper. There is a store across the street, but the prices are very high. The service is very nice and helpful when you need help. Village Corner is close enough to the bay and promenade, while offering rural peacefulness. Green space is on premium in Malta - there is a nice view from the living room. There are three bedrooms, each with a wardrobe and: - a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, - a queen-size bed, - a single bed. A well equipped kitchen. Kind and easy to communicate with host.

Bonus of a Dolce Gusto coffee machine in our room and free bottled water every day. The cooked breakfast is amazing - the best we have had in our 15 years of travelling. Bus stops right outside and lots of bars and restaurants are a pleasant stroll away. We will be back soon!!
