I have rather randomly picked this place, and it turned out to be... a little heaven!!!
I rarely leave comments, and this time I won't be bothered to post some photos as well.
First of all, it is not a house. It is a castle. And not anyone's. Lannister's :D
From the very entrance, through the hallway, up the most amazing staircase, to the room, and then out to the patio where I drank every coffee- I was left speechless. I could not believe the whiteness of the walls, they looked as if painted that morning.
The room- super big, the closets- the same. There was everything from the iron, to towels, super clean sheets, and even coffee and sugar. As a coffee addict I really really appreciated this :D
I have to dedicate an extra sentence to the bed only- I have never ever slept in a more comfortable bed. I indeed have to contact Reuben and ask about the manufacturer :)
Having your morning coffee in the patio is an experience for itself. It should be listed within the top 10 Malta attractions. And this is not an exaggeration.
Reuben is the kindest man and me and my boyfriend felt as if we were completely alone in, I have to repeat, a castle.
Finally, the dog- oh my god, I wish she was there to welcome me home every day. There is no lovelier creature in this planet!
To sum it all up- the best weekend of my life!

+ The owners were very responsive and friendly. Considering that we arrived in Malta relatively early (9:00), they allowed us to check in early, for which we are extremely grateful.
+ The bus station is practically in front of the entrance to the apartment.
+The bed was comfortable.

This is such a nice area with pretty views and beautiful buildings. It is a quiet city but still close to shops, restaurants and the cliffs. The people were very friendly and we felt safe walking around at night. The streets are clean and prices for food are very reasonable. Not very crowded and food is delicious! Its easy to walk or take a bus, although the buses tend to run late, so plan extra time.

Great town, two days enough although there is a good bus service. The history of the city is very interesting, although same said for the history of Malta as a whole. 5 days in Malta to sightsee, more if you want a beach holiday. Quite expensive.

We stayed 2 nights in Rabat leading up to St.
We stayed 2 nights in Rabat leading up to St. Joseph's Feast March 19th. The city was beautifully decorated, each day more items added. We did a walking tour of Mdina and then walked through at night, best time. Rabat makes a great base to explore this part of Malta. We bussed or taxied to Mosta, Dingli Cliffs, Aviation Museum, and even to St. Pauls for the afternoon. Highly recommend.

Rabat is a lovely town close to Mdina. The festa at the end of June was a great experience, seeing Maltese come together as a community was quite charming. Some really good restaurants off the main streets, well worth exploring

The apartment was perfectly located for enjoying Rabat on foot. We had a car and although parking os not provided we had no trouble finding parking very near by and it was free. The apartment has lots of stairs with 4 floors ( kitchen in the lower level, livingroom main floor, on the flight up to the bedroom their is a powder room. Second floor is the bedroom and up the next flight of stairs is the main bathroom. A few steps up is a washing machine and then open the patio door and you are on an amazing rooftop terrace with a great with of the top of the church.
Joe, was great with communicating with us and met us at the apartment when we arrived. He also had a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us to enjoy!
For a very reasonable fee he drove us to the airport at the end of our stay which we really appreciated since we needed to drop the car off the evening before.
The only improvement might be to have a few more towels and supply machining machine detergent.....very minor items overall.
Everything!! The hotel is really beautiful and relaxing. The building was recently renovated and every detail is very well taken care of. The bed is comfortable, breakfast is great with different local products offer every morning and great variety of things to choose from. Extremely clean. Parking is free on the street and it is really easy to find a spot nearby.
Mary Grace and her team are doing a fantastic job! If we ever come back to Malta, this will be our accomodation .
We wish you every success!
One of the most satisfying stays in recent years. It is an utterly delightful little hotel. Every little thing has been thought of.
If your budget can stretch to it, we highly recommend booking a superior room (I'm sure the other rooms are superb too). The location is excellent, right in the centre of Rabat and a quick walk to Mdina. If you have a car, there's a public car park a few seconds away which had spaces 99% of the time we were there. Treat yourself and stay here.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was we had Room 1 and was a bit noisy. The location was super...bus station right outside door. Easy walk to Rabat sights and Mdina. Lovely ,good breakfast of fresh fruits, juice, eggs, avacado. Communication was great. Very friendly staff, thank you Hassan and owner, Robert. We would definitely go back. Liked the roof terrace off Room 5
This hotel is located about 10 minute walk from the Mdina city gate, and is a great budget option to explore this city and nearby museums & catacombs (highly recommend!). The breakfast was good enough to refuel in the morning, and there was a great balcony at the top to get a view over the surrounding town and countryside. Our host was lovely and friendly.
This hotel is down such a cute street just outside the old city walls. All the staff we dealt with were very freindly, the rooms were nice and had comfortable beds, and the breakfast was super generous and delicious. This is a great place for anyone to stay and enjoy Mdina a bit more than just a day trip (it was so beautiful at night time, don't miss it!)
Beautifully furnished & well-equipped room with lots of extras (tea/coffee/water/fridge/local books/bathrobes/slippers) and a private jacuzzi! The manager, Sarah, was a pleasure to deal with & her communication & helpfulness were perfect. Excellent location with lots of free parking nearby & within easy walking distance of both Rabat & Mdina. Wonderful!
This truly is a gem. Patrick and Beatrice have gone to great lengths to create a beautiful, small hotel right in the heart of Rabat and a 10 minute walk to Madina Gate. They serve a very nice breakfast and will help you with restaurants, walks, etc. All in a gorgeous, 400 year-old, home. We stayed for 4 nights and could have stayed longer.
The shower was super funny if you didn't expect it! The pool was long and nice to swim in, with a bubble "jacuzzi". The sun terrace offers a great view of Rabat and the hotel is really well placed with 2 entrances. The staff was super kind and helpful. Head to Circus Coffee Smile for another roof terrace and view of the church
The place was fantastic, way better than we'd expected. We were even given a bigger room. Everything beautiful and tidy and the staff was really kind and helpful. The à la carte breakfast wasn't very large, but it was enough and tasty. Overally I really recommend this place while you're in Rabat.
Lovely well equipped apartment in a great location to enjoy Rabat and the madina
We had a lovely welcome from Donna. Our visit coincided with the feast of St Joseph which was an unexpected bonus.
I’d definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others
We couldn’t find better accommodation in Malta! Myn is situated close to bus station, Mdina gate, many bars and restaurants. The view from the terrace is amazing and Tano is amazing host. We had everything we needed, from coffee, towels, shower gels etc.
Nice stay at this family owned hotel and it's well located in Rabat. The breakfast was excellent. You can park for free in the street down the hotel but it gets tricky on the weekends and probably during high season too
Good location on a quiet side street. Accomodations were fine. Host was very helpful. Great view from the balcony on the roof. About a ten minute walk to the fortress in Mdina and the other attractions.
Ideal location for exploring all the history in Malta. Just a short walk into Mdina. Gorgeous hotel, very quiet and clean. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was delicious. Very clean and tidy. Good shower in a clean bathroom. Close to the square of Rabat and to Mdina. Picturesque streets.
