Beautiful Atoll and very kind local people. Many spots where to snorkel. The reef is full of life (beautiful marine species). A right place for fishing huge trevally, tuna, mahi-mahi, and baracuda (among other coral fishes)

I specifically chose Baa atoll as it is in the protected Biosphere that regulates fishing and any harmful practices to the underwater environment and coral reefs. It consists of a number of small individual islands as well as a number of "native" islands where locals live and maldivian culture can be experienced. It's also not too far from Male airport - just a short domestic flight and speedboat to the island.

    Sadly, corals reef mostly deed.

Sadly, corals reef mostly deed. However, there are still really many coral fish to watch if you like snorkeling. Beaches are good. Clarity of water was a big mystery for me. It could change from "absolutely clear" to "milky" within 1.5-2 hours. Not sure what to blame for this: tide change or ash from islands rubbish burning plants. Visited two islands 15-20 min away from Dharavandhoo. Saw many sharks from 0.5m babies to 3m

This was a very low key, relaxing experience.

This was a very low key, relaxing experience. Just what you want with a holiday getaway. Absolutely beautiful island. Water Villa room very nice, with snorkeling right out of the room. Boat trips $$$ were great to see dolphins, turtles, etc. Staff and food were great. However, we spent a lot of time trying to figure out what food and drinks were included in the all-inclusive deal, and what were extra. On "seafood night," I asked for a little half-pound lobster tail. Turned out to be US$73 extra. We went on a fishing trip, and they said the kitchen would cook what we caught. But that was a US$30 extra charge. Worst problem here is internet. The only place you can get internet is in the lobby. Wifi in bar and restaurant not functional. And if you want internet in your room it's a US$44+/day but basically doesn't work either. Seriously folks, it's 2023, not 1993!

    The stay was magical.

The stay was magical. Where I come from, we don't have such amazing weather and environment. It was so relaxing and just what was needed. I needed 1-3 more days to have a full week. I only wish I had everything covered and not need to pay for any extras other than souvenirs.

I want to add to the previous review: all the shortcomings eliminated the next day after my comment. And the rubric of unsolicited advice: I strongly recommend taking a snorkeling lesson, if you are a beginner like me, do not worry, in this hotel you will be in good hands). The reef here is very beautiful! You can see an incredible underwater world within two minutes of the villa. And we also took an excursion with dolphins and another one with mantas. We were very happy with the organization, the guides and got a lot of emotions!

Clarks Exotica is situated on the beautiful postcard like island of Kamadhoo. The island itself is pretty well maintained and clean compared to other islands! The hotel is a 7 floor high tower with amazing view of the ocean. Being in the room one could feel like being right on the beach. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is quite modern and we were even provided with wooden toothbrush and razor kit. The staff was very kind and helpful, special thanks to Ram for his great service!

We loved the villa, amenities, and amazing service from all the staff. We booked this hotel in part thanks to the Kids Club and it did not disappoint, the nannies were sweet and trustworthy. Our daughter had a wonderful time! We booked upon arrival full board, it was the best choice. The drinks menu for full board dining was really good, the food was delicious... the Villas are fabulous as well as the pool. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back.

The beach was beautiful and it's very nice that every bungalw has it's own little beach area. We absolutely loved that the hotel has a private reef, so you could literally just snorkel around the island. Snorkeling gear you can of course rent at the hotel (complimentary for all-inclusive guests). The food was good, especially the Indian dishes. The staff is very nice and always helpful. Make sure not to miss snorkeling with mantas!

Amazing villa over the water ! The service was extraordinary and I’d like to mention a few names: Maria, our hostess, was amazing taking care of every single detail for us; Bandula, the hotel manager, was extremely nice with us offering a lunch in the underwater restaurant; and last but not the least the Cooking chef who kindly shared with me a very good gluten-free recipe of pizza ….

The bathroom was special. You could have a shower looking the stars. The bed was huge, very comfortable. They offered coconut water for free. They would take you for free everywhere in the island you wish, and after bring you back to the hotel. However, it deserves rather walking if you can over this paradice island.

There are so many activities to choose from or do nothing at all. If you only choose one place to visit, this is the best. The real Maldives.
