The position of the hotel meant that the view was gorgeous. It was very chilled there and we met lots of very happy guests. You can hire a sauna spot on the fjordside and jump in after! Very cheery, friendly and helpful staff and they gave us linked rooms so we could all be together which was great. Breakfast was very good and looking out over the fjord a wonderful experience... !!

Comfortable beds and pillows and very clean. Super good Breakfast at a low price.

It is a beautiful camping with amazing views from all sides! What a pity that we were only for one day here. Spacious territory, terraces in houses, good location.
And many thanks to the camping employee, a young guy who helped us in all matters. A step in the house broke and he repaired it instantly!

Ulvik is a jewel that we really discovered by chance. Two nights was simply not enough. We met the most amazing and friendly people. The staff in the tourist information shop were so good. They were locals and knew the social and cultural history. An amazing stay. Strand Hotel staff were super helpful.

Even the night porter seemed happy to see me and served my breakfast with a smile going the extra mile even though I was checking out at 4am. The restaurant is pricy but lovely. The location of the hotel at the fjord is beautiful and the garden gives the place a relaxing, comfortable feel. The balconies are really sweet and handy. I loved the opportunity to swim in the fjord, I was surprised how warm the water was.
